Great little pump . Strong water flow, even works when cloudy 👍

Bought as a replacement works perfect in my nature pond I just wish the cable was 1mtr longer for the panel to sit fully on top of my shed roof. And that the panel had a support as well as a spike. (See pic) Great value product.

Great item, you have to understand, if there is no direct sunlight, there is no water movement, there is no back up battery, it's just free instant sun power! I made my feature with a cheap 50cm plastic half barrell, painted to look like wood with metal bands, and an upside down 30cm plastic flower pot. The only issue for me, was as I wanted the pump at the bottom of the large pot, I had to use the tubing, but.... the tubing only fits directly to the pump, none of the nozzles fit the tubing!... it needs an adaptor to use the nozzles, which quite frankly is dumb, luckily I had some larger tubing I could fashion a adaptor out of, and ...voila!! The pump is 50cm down in the water from the nozzles, so unless I am really lazy... or dead, it won't be running dry!!

No battery back up do needs sun to work

Purchased for my tortoise run. They are not sure yet but with the satellite it works day time and the boys have water to drink or hopefully cool down

This little solar fountain is great and is very sensitive to the sun, however if the sun goes behind a cloud it will stop and then start again as soon as the sun appears. Unlike some it does not store the power from the sun! The only downside is that there aren't any fixing straps or holes to thread anything to, to attach it to a structure. I made a water feature from an old urn placed on an upturned terracotta pot in a large shallow stone bowl to act as a reservoir. I placed the pump into the reservoir, filled with water, covered the pump and cable with cobbles and it works a treat. You must make sure the water doesn't evaporate and always covers the pump or it will burn out. This was in a shady area so I then had to find a sunny spot to place the panel. The cable was a bit on the short side but was just long enough to take up to the top of the fence which gets the sun most of the day. After a few trials I eventually secured it with an elastic cord. Occasionally the wind or a squirrel running along the fence will move it so I have to adjust it if the fountain stops. When it's going well the water shoots up about 8" on the attachment I'm using. I'm thrilled to bits with the effect and my friends are really impressed.

Excellent solar fountain pump! Easy to set up, works great in direct sunlight, and the different water spray styles look beautiful in my garden. Perfect for a bird bath or small pond—great value for money.

Good points include the accessories, nozels, hose and compact packaging and, unfortunately, a simple returns process. When it did work it managed to pump about 30-40cm head (height from the pump). Bad points: it only worked on full summer sun, clouds made it cut out. Came back the following day to see if there was any improvement - totally dead; sent for returns and will be looking for something a bit bigger.

It works well.
