April 2020Purchased this jack during the winter (Jan 2020) in preparation for working on my motorcycle & my wifes motorcycle (both Honda's) come spring. I have had the opportunity to use this jack several times. Both bikes are too low to use the adjustable stanchions, but they remove very easily. So far, I have one suggestion, purchase a rubber mat, like a toolbox liner, and put the rubber mat on the jack platform. This will prevent the bike from sliding. Without the rubber, it is metal on metal and the bike tends to slide a bit, even with the wheel chocked. When working on the bike from the side (think replacing clutch rings, chain, clutch cable, etc.), the bike tends to move side to side. If you are not careful, the bike will slide off the jack platform.I also used the jack to change out the tires on the riding mower. The jack is the perfect size and lifts both front (or rear) tires off the ground at the same time. This made it very convenient in replacing the tires. I am sure I will find other uses for this jack and not just use it solely for the motorcycles. It provides enough height so that you are not hunched over working, only to have a sore back after the job is complete. It is a solid, well made piece of equipment. Well worth the price. Truth be told, I purchased it after a friend of mine purchased one. We used the jack to work on his bike (Harley). This is when we noticed the side to side movement and headed to Home Depot for the rubber toolbox liner.

Definitely good quality for the price. Way cheaper than the name brands. The handle is the only thing I would upgrade but altogether nice and sturdy.

I was looking for the least expensive way to reliably lift my motorcycles for service. One of my bikes has the pipes running under the frame, and it's difficult to find space for a lift, so the adjustability of this unit is useful.

Unit is too tall to fit under most dresser bikes. It is also about all this jack wants to lift a heavier bike. it did work but, I would not buy it again.
