This is the best you can get for caravans and motor homes.

Sadly my 21 year old car developed a leak from the roof due to a rust hole around the sunroof! After much research I chose this product to seal the hole and for good measure all around the sunroof - it is asking a lot really because as you know a huge metal area that gets extremely hot in the sun, then cold is subject to extreme thermal stress and expansion. I am glad to report that it worked perfectly and still is almost one year on with no signs that it will fail either. The flex in the sealant and UV resistance made this the right product for me, also being clear it hardly shows at all - not that one can care too much when driving a 21 year old rust bucket VW!!

This is the industry standard for high quality, strong bonds which are reliably waterproof. I use this stuff all the time when I want a waterproof seal, especially in my campervan build where water leakage leads to rust. Don’t buy cheap imitations. It’s dead easy to use, but if it’s cold, keep in a warm room for a few hours before use, this eases the effort needed to get it out the tube. Lean up excess immediately.

Amazing grip and easy to use, just don’t get it on anything other than what needs sticking and wear gloves as it is really hard to get off.

Nulla a che vedere con i normali siliconi, siamo su un altro pianeta. Caro ma il lavoro lo svolge alla perfezione. Utilizzato per incollare pannelli solari sul tetto di un camper, non si staccano nemmeno tirandoli con tutta la forza che ho in corpo. Utilizzato anche per le sigillature esterne, elastico e resistente! Lo riacquisterei? ASSOLUTAMENTE SI! CONSIGLIATO!

ch habe Sikaflex-522 verwendet, um die Bodenplatte meines Anhängers zum Rahmen hin abzudichten. Dafür ließ sich der Dichtstoff sehr gut verarbeiten. Das Material kommt gleichmäßig aus der Kartusche, lässt sich sauber auftragen und anschließend gut glätten. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass es nicht sofort unkontrolliert verläuft und man die Fuge ordentlich ausarbeiten kann. Nach dem Aushärten macht die Abdichtung einen stabilen und gleichzeitig elastischen Eindruck. Gerade bei einem Anhänger ist das wichtig, weil dort durch Fahrbetrieb und Temperaturunterschiede immer etwas Bewegung im Material entsteht. Wie langlebig die Abdichtung wirklich ist, wird sich natürlich erst mit der Zeit zeigen. Der erste Eindruck ist aber sehr gut und die Verarbeitung hat mich überzeugt. Fazit: Für das Abdichten einer Anhängerbodenplatte sehr gut geeignet. Sauber zu verarbeiten, haftet ordentlich und macht bisher einen hochwertigen Eindruck.

Me ha servido para sellar la junta de un techo elevable de una furgoneta y genial. Un poco sucio y engorroso para echar sin mancharte y manchar todo, pero se quita bien con disolvente. Quizás algo caro para lo que es...pero sika no defrauda
