Airbrush Paint Set 28 Colors, Acrylic Paint for Models & Crafts

I haven't used my airbrushes in several weeks; it's winter here and my airbrush booth has a vent hose that needs to be pointed out an open window, and I don't feel like freezing myself and I don't think such low temperatures would be conducive to airbrushing. But the few colors I did use from this set before winter set its icy claws into my area impressed me. I haven't been airbrushing for too long, maybe a year, and I still have my first set of airbrush paints from TimberTech. I'm not impressed with those; some of the paints are too thick and need thinning, some are way too thin and just don't flow right through the airbrush. By contrast, the four colors I used from this set all had the same viscosity, they didn't need to be thinned, and I got good results in smooth, sheer coats that nicely covered the art paper and 3D printed models I paint on. Since the paints I've used from this set had consistent viscosity, cleaning my airbrushes has been a cinch. I'm able to pour back unused paint into the bottle, and a bit of flushing with airbrush cleaner and a bit of scrubbing with a cheap paintbrush soaked in more airbrush cleaner renders my airbrush clean as a whistle! (Pun intended!) I do have one negative observation, but it really can't be helped. The glittery paints in this set can't be finely sprayed, at least in my experience. Given my lack of experience, I could be wrong here so take it with a grain of salt. I also recommend using a 0.5 mm needle/nozzle in your airbrush for the glittery paint and using higher pressure. For the paints I've used in this set, I can drop to 20 PSI and could probably go even lower. But for the glittery paints, I run pressure at about 40 PSI. But again, don't try to do fine line work or small detail work with the glittery paint. I will only use them for basecoats of 3D printed models. I didn't get to airbrush as much as I wanted to this year (2022), but I am hoping to do a lot more airbrushing in 2023. So long as these paints continue to perform well, then I will simply buy more of these when the need arises!

I’ve used one color! I really like them and they will last forever! Definitely worth the price!

I have a cheaper air bush kit with a rechargeable compressor, it was able to spray well the colors are vibrant its a stain finish. with my gun i didnt put to much in and it covered decent amount.
