Awesome for larger riders!
Including a picture of my out-of-shape self to show a larger person in these pants. The short of it? These are the best freaking riding pants I’ve ever had. The long of it is that I recently got my lovable moose of a draft cross who can safely carry me as I work on rebuilding myself. I’m down 30lbs but core strength is a faded memory but it’s slowly returning. Jeans weren’t cutting it. Well, they were kinda cutting me in half with the waist band digging in. And with summer approaching the heat was starting to make heavy denim impractical. I haven’t bought riding pants in years. Then I found these with butt-cooling fabric AND pockets!?! Yes. The pockets fit my smartphone covered in a charging case. The waistband doesn’t dig and I don’t feel like I’m squeezing into a toothpaste tube when putting them on. I’m absolutely a larger rider. I’m personally working on reducing weight for the sake of myself and my moose. But in the meantime I’m so glad these come in 2x. For those in the same boat as I am I’m 5’5” and currently 255lbs. I still feel like I have room in them if I was either a bit larger or smaller. And I honestly plan to also wear these on summer walks as athletic wear.

Amazingly comfy
Updated review: Although I was concerned about durability, these tights have held up great. They snagged the first time I wore them which led me to believe they would need replacement quickly. I wore them throughout the summer without any additional snags. The small sucking noises went away after a few washes and, quite frankly, I'd wear these all day every day in the summer if it were socially acceptable.Original review:After several 100 degree days I ordered these tights. I'd only ridden in full seat breeches prior to ordering these. These tights are incredibly comfortable and cooling. They are more slippery than a full seat breech, but I didn't notice after I started working. Also, they make a little sucking noise as you post, but they don't leave marks on the saddle. I do wash these inside out to protect the grip pads. These snag easily, as one would expect, so they will need to be replaced more frequently than breeches. The biggest difference with these tights was my comfort level after the ride. Sweat dried off quickly and I felt very comfortable as I was bathing and taking care of my horse. I've chosen to only wear these on the hottest days, but I'm happy to have them as an option.

Gorgeous tights but such poor quality.
I want to love these so much. They fit perfectly, they are as comfortable as yoga pants, they look fabulous. But after one hours wear and one cold wash/drip dry, they were already pilled. By the third wear they tore straight through from the friction of a dismount. I am so disappointed :(EDIT: Contacted Kerrits and then the seller from Amazon, SUPER impressed by their response, which was an immediate 100% refund. Couldn't be happier with the customer service from both Kerrits and One Stop Equine Shop!

So very comfortable
I love these tights, they are so comfortable. They fit great and are super flexible. The silicon Kerrits have a nice grip to them but are not so tacky that hair sticks to them. I love the pocket on each leg for my phone. They even keep me from sweating in embarrassing places. Living in the south we have “air you can wear” since it is so humid. These are fantastic. I’m not going to lie and say I don’t sweat, but at least these don’t stick to you. Which really comes in handy for potty breaks. I love them enough I plan on buying more. I have bought several summer tights and breeches, these are my favorite by far.

Comfy but they don’t hold up
Kerrits is one of my go to brands as a plus size equestrian. And anything full seat is even more adored because my main focus is a dressage. We train roughly 5-6 days a week. Medium ring work and light hacks. I’ve probably owned this breeches for 2 months before they ended up unraveling in the stitching. They were only ridden in a handful of times but were slowly becoming my go to and favorite. I’ve had some other styles of kerrits I ordered at the same time. They went through the same riding wear that are still holding up beautifully. Overall I’m disappointed. For $90 I’d expect more.Looking at other reviews it seems to be a running trend. I’d be cautious but if you have the money to risk. They are incredibly soft, well fitting and have pockets.

Deep pockets, good fit, not too slippery
These are my favorite Kerrits model so far! The fabric is substantial, not see-through, holds up well. The grippy things aren't slippery but aren't especially grippy either. The pockets are deep - I can fit an iPhone X Plus in one and two handfuls of baby carrots in the other. And i can access the pockets while riding, which is great. I bought these tights in purple and in black but so far have only worn the purple. My mom has them in blue and also really likes them. The legs are too long for me but the elastic ankle just bags or rolls gently and is not a bother inside my paddock boots.

Excess inseam thread sticking out in crotch area
I don’t necessarily want to go through the hassle of returning these, but it’s a little embarrassing to have this excess inseam thread sticking out an inch or so in the crotch area. It should have been hidden on the side of the pants. Can I cut this without damaging the sewing integrity and contributing to an future hole in these pants?

Great all around riding pants
Update: they lasted less than three months 😭Love these so much! My butt sticks like glue to the saddle and they are so comfortable. Much better inseam than the non full seat version. Black is classy and the pockets work great.

Light weight, generous size/length
Generous fit - expected the opposite so could maybe have even gone size smaller. I bought 2XL and length was perfect (I’m 6’2”). Lighter than my Pikeur riding breeches but could have gone even lighter. Even with full seat, definitely not as sticky/secure as Pikeurs, but still nice alternative for hot summer days.
