I don't think so. The details state that this item uses and comes with batteries, which leads a consumer to believe that this is an airsoft tracer unit. It neither comes with or requires batteries. It is ONLY for looks. Granted, it does look good, hence the 2 stars, but it serves no other purpose than that.
