Q: Will the pot stand hold a trangia stove?

No. This stove/ pot stand are smaller diameter

Q: What is the fuel capacity?

I've found it holds around 80 to 82mls of liquid total. I also prime it when using it with a splash of liquid fuel underneath to heat it. I've never used the full capacity of fuel in one sitting. I use about half that volume in methylated sprits to boil my camp cup of water for a coffee and even then it still burns fuel for a while after the water has reached a suitable temperature and I've removed the cup from the stove..I've not cooked a pan of food on mine only boiled water so cant comment on cooking. I've only ever used the meth's (as a liquid fuel), other liquid fuels may burn hotter. hope that helps.
