Franklin Sports Quick-Setup Steel Soccer Goal

This has been a really great goal. We’ve had a few cheaper option in the past the break easily since they’re basically made from tend poles! This is metal and It’s very heavy duty and withstands rough kiddos playing soccer! We’ve had it almost a year and the only thing we’ve had to do is tighten the Velcro straps on the net and tighten the screws on the side which is to be expected! Don’t buy the cheap $30 net! Spend the extra $ if you can, it will save you in the long run!

One of my favorite purchases for our backyard. Our 3 year old loves and the 20 year old uncles can’t tear it up. It’s sturdy and durable. The added bonus is that we can easily store it in the garage when not in use. Assembly took about 10 minutes.

This thing is great. Heavy duty and should last to much abuse.

Good size goals, the pin to lock the goals in place comes out too often.

I purchased this for my grandson to use in a large basement and in the yard. I bought the 6 x 4 ft folding model in black (for contrast outdoors with a standard silver chain link fence - the prices of black and silver were about the same at the time I purchased). I was able to set it up easily, using dog agility tunnel sandbags on the ground bar (instead of ground stakes) to prevent tipping in the basement. My grandson is a toddler and has been using it with a size 3 Nerf ball. I see rare reviews that say that the net is wobbly. The bars hold together with push buttons like those on my vacuum cleaner wand. Unlike the stiff, straight, single continuous tube of an assembled vacuum wand, the net tubing takes turns and has attachment points both top and bottom and left and right. The wiggle room is necessary so that only one person is required to assemble and disassemble the frame. If the metal frame were completely rigid, it would require two people acting exactly in unison at opposing attachment points to put the metal tubing together and take it apart. That wiggle room is not a design flaw. One piece came defective, and Franklin Sports responded immediately and generously so that my grandson had his perfect Christmas present on time.

Seven months later and it’s holding up great

The net was missing from my order so I reached out to the seller with my purchase info and they PROMPLTY replaced the entire order. Great material great quality and very easy assembly. This goal comes with Velcro tabs to secure the net to the poles, but I also did use extra velcro tabs that I had laying around all around the net because I know it’ll get used often and wanted the extra security.

We've been using these goals for adult soccer tournaments for 4 years, and they’ve held up incredibly well. They’re sturdy, durable, and have survived plenty of wear and tear. Setup and transport are super convenient. They fold easily and fit right in the car. We just fold them in 4 with the net still attached, and it takes us about 5 min to set them up again. Highly recommended!
