I take my sugars for fitness purposes, I am not diabetic. I am a registered nurse and I do blood sugars daily on patients.I took two readings on both index fingers, moments apart. I got readings from the 80s to 120s. Hands washed, alcohol was dry, and I calibrated the glucometer prior to use.I understand that the FDA allows a +/- of 20 points on glucometers sold in the US, and technically this glucometer meets that standard. It for someone who needs an accurate reading to administer insulin, or in my case, to time carbohydrate intake for my workouts and the gym….There’s a better, cheaper option at your local pharmacy.Avoid this purchase.

The quality of this product is good, hubby can check his glucose levels at a comfortable price. Now to look for the test strips hope they are available.

Product Problem: the piece that you put the Lancet to poke finger to get blood 🩸 for glucometer to read blood sugar levels DOES NOT seem to Work. I’ve tried to figure out How to get the lancet to come out to prick my finger to get blood for blood sugar machine and NOTHING. Please help with BETTER INSTRUCTIONS/ INFORMATION to get this Problem Resolved
