Gen7Pets Deluxe 3-Step Conversion Steps, Espresso

Love the color, matches my bed perfectly. Only complaints are shipping based. There is some sort of sticky substance to keep the styrofoam in place on the second stairs on both sides of the wood. It took me an hour and some goof off to get it off. It was sticky with bits of styrofoam still stuck to it. Also the corner of the top stair was damaged. However the stairs are so heavy and really not worth shipping beck to exchange it. Therefore I’m keeping them anyways. Still good quality stairs, shipping just needs to be better.

It took a lot to get this ready to use. It looked like it was packed in Styrofoam BEFORE the finish was dry. We had to scrape off every raised area of wood because it was covered with sticky Styrofoam. This lead to some areas being scratched by us. There was also a small area of what looked like the top layer of wood (like a veneer?) had split off but they went ahead and painted and lacquered it anyway.

This is very sturdy & seems well built. It was also easy to assemble. I had to give 3 stars because I had ordered the black color but was sent the espresso color. If I wanted espresso color I could've ordered from Chewy for a cheaper price! Should have returned it because of that, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle as the box was somewhat big. Another issue was some sides had the styrofoam stuck on it.

Very expensive but is great quality. I do wish that the middle stair and the top one were a little shorter so my dog would have an easier time reaching from one to the other, or have at least one more stair added on so that it would still be as tall but not too tall apart from the last stair. So if you have a tea cup dog this might be a problem for them. I do love the middle storage and the look of them.

Seems sturdy. I'm disappointed that the middle step is the only one that opens and the boxes area is only half the depth of the step

Exactly what I was expecting! I was worried about the dogs actually using it. I just bought a bed taller than our previous and they were having trouble making the bigger leap. Within a few days, the stairs are their preferred method. It does take up a bit of space, but it’s worth it.
