Working product
Easy install. Works with our doorbell ringer, Arlo doorbell camera and Nest thermostat. It took me about five minutes to install. Three wires; green white and black. Very common wire colors for US home wiring. Very easy to replace a low voltage original transformer 10v. This product is low voltage, but just little more juice which is needed for new doorbell cameras and smart thermostats. I can recommend this transformer, worked for our needs. 02-02-2025

I needed this because my new doorbell required more power than my old transformer could provide. It worked and my doorbell is happily chiming away now.

16 V Works fine
Switched from Ring worked with my lower vote Transformer to a Lorex Door bell camera requires 16 v so my tranformer was to low for the Lorex . Not sure of the longevity but it powered my L doorbell fine and I do not hear buzzing or humming like a few reviews state.. I did need to file the 3/4'' hole Seems this is a bit larger than my knock out jig so Check before you install so you don't get in the attic twice like I did...

Fixed the Doorbell Camera Issues!
Installed a Eufy Doorbell Camera for my mother in law, the camera self test said the voltage was fine, but it kept going off, lights on it out. So I replaced the doorbell transformer, probably easy job for most homes, but this one was stuffed in a small utility closet with the furnace and was quite a test of patience... I got it installed and its been working fine since, camera has not went out at all. Nice transformer, nice price!

Longevity is questionable
This transformer doesn't live up. It seemed.to.work fine for about 20 days and then my Eufy Doorbell battery started draining in a day or two. The VAC is 18V when testing with a meter now but the VA is less than 2 now no where near the 30VA advertised. Wish it had failed a bit earlier so I could have returned it. I would recommend steering clear of this item if you truly need the 30VA capability as it might not be a long term solution.
