Will these work with the black and decker floorbuster sv3000?

They do work well with the SV3000 Floorbuster .  Unit runs well and much longer than the B&D Versapak Gold.  The only drawback is they are a very snug fit, so removing them for recharging can be a challenge.  When it comes time to recharge, I make sure I've got something handy to get a better grip on the battery, just to get the battery out a half inch or so past the point of tightness.  VERY happy with them - all my B&D VersaPak tools are now back in action, better than original!

Question 2

Are the b&d versa pack batteries the same as the sears versa pack product?  they look the same.

There was a similar product from multiple tool vendors many years ago that used nickel cadmium chemistry and had a slightly different physical dimensions.  These replacements use nickel metal hydride chemistry because this newer technology does not have a “memory” and as such holds a charge longer without the need to full cycle from charged to totally depleted among other improvements.  Depending on the device you intend to use these with - the fit may or may not an issue for you because it all depends on how tightly the battery department was designed.  (Remember that this is also true for the charger!)  Electrically - both are the same voltage - but these should provide longer charges because of the improved current rating and more lifetime recharges.  I have a saw, hedge trimmer, and screwdriver that needed new batteries and these worked in all three but two are definitely a tight fit - in addition I ordered a new charger, because there was corrosion on the contacts of the original and the contacts were getting worn out from use. Will  these  replace the previous craftsman versapak gold battery  #900.112940  i  have used in my old craftsman "pivot driver" . looks identical?

Yes this is what I was using in Versapak tools the gold and silver batteries. Those ones just worked perfect.
