Imagine, if you will A few friends on a camping trip. One camper decides to take a solo hike through the woods to see the river. Due to several unfortunate events, that camper finds that his bracelet may be the only thing that saves him... From his elevated location, Jim looks down onto the river and decides to follow the current to get closer to the water. He turns on the compass app on his phone hoping to see what direction he is currently walking and trips. Tumbling down into the river and smashing his calf on a jagged rock. Jim is wet, in pain, alone and no one to help him. He looks to his hand and finds that his phone is gone BUT he does have that Freedom Republic Paracord bracelet his girlfriend got him. The sun was setting; it was getting cold. Jim consults his Fahrenheit thermometer to check the temperature. Jim needs to warm up and tend to his leg. Get through the night. Jim manages to gather some kindling and wood. He unravels Freedom Republic Paracord bracelet and use some of its fine inner strands as tinder. Using the flint and scraper, he manages to generate sparks and ignite the tinder. Soon he has a nice fire going. Bolstered by what he has accomplished so far, Jim uses the scraper as a knife to cut a piece a paracord to make clothesline to dry his clothes. Then use a branch and a little more paracord to make a splint for his leg. A while later, back in dry clothes and his leg secure, he decides to try using his whistle to help his friend locate him. He has been gone quite a while and they should be looking for him. If not, he will use the compass from the buckle of the bracelet and navigate back. Luckily, he didn't need to use it. Since his camping buddies were given the same gift from their girlfriends, they whistled back. Jim had been found. Thanks to their Freedom Republic Paracord bracelets
