Do these hold shape while empty?

No. They're just nylon, soft, can roll up in a ball. But really do make a huge difference for being able to fit more, have better organization and make it easier to find things versus rifling through entire bag. Highly recommend.

What is the total weight of all 6 pieces?

Less than the shipping weight - these bags are strong and very well made - all together they are less than 1 pound (if not less than 1/2 pound) Look at the shipping weight - it will get you close

These look great for using inside a carry-on bag, but can you please offer them in some nice solid colors (navy blue, olive green, taupe)?

I have the orange and grey one. And gave the black and red to a cousin for a Birthday gift. Thanks!

Have a 28” suitcase packing for an11 day trip what size is recommended?

I'm not sure exactly what your question is. If you are asking about the packing cubes shown, set of 6. I would use all of them for sure. 11 days....might even buy 2 sets. They look like a great set!! I like to be as efficient as possible and I use those cubes in so many ways. I hope I have helped in some way. Bon voyage!!
