This is a carbon fibre helmet, that looks quite stunning. I have the regular Axor helmet as well, and both are apparently quite similar in terms of design & build, when looked at, except the fact, that the carbon fibre one has this distinguishing carbon fibre patterns & gloss, plus it is a tad bit lighter, and also the fact that the carbon fibre one has costed me more than double the regular one.Now, I don't wish to validate if carbon fibre one is better than the regular one in terms of it performance & that I leave to the experts.This is a premium & costly helmet, with a lighter body, & is equally comfortable, can be easily worn for long rides & stylish as the regular Axor Open face helmet (and this is positive point, for this is the reason, I got myself a 2nd Axor open face), has this distinguishing CF pattern, & is expected to be more safer & protective in those unexpected circumstances. So, I am happy with the purchase, knowing the fact that it is a 5k+ helmet.

Perhaps not so sturdy as the more expensive carbon fibre helmets but better than most helmets made from ordinary plastics.
