I’ve bought Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls Gel multiple times now, and it’s become a staple in my hair care routine. This gel defines my curls beautifully without making them crunchy or stiff. It gives my hair a soft, natural hold and enhances my curl pattern, leaving my curls bouncy and frizz-free all day. I love that it’s lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, yet still provides enough hold to keep my curls in place. The scent is light and pleasant, too. I’ve tried many curl creams and gels, but this one consistently delivers the best results, which is why I keep coming back for more. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their curls with a soft, flexible hold!

LOVE this gel istg it’s perfect for my hair! My hair is a little bit on the fine side, thick, a mix of 2c to 3a and lower porosity. For me I put it on and it clumps my curls perfectly and feels nice and moisturizing on my hair. I’ve never had any greasiness with it, though my hair overall never gets greasy. It smells lovely and the amount of product in the bottle is great, tho I’ll admit it’s still a little pricy. I will take and brush in the multi-cultural styler with my hair upside down and then I’ll rake some of this gel through though I mostly use it to scrunch. If you have hair like mine, this is an excellent product!

This really does give soft curls and holds it in place.

It’s non greasy, makes your hair feel good, controls frizz, and leaves your curls beautiful.

I’ve tried several gel curl products, Kinky Curly Curl Custard Gel, Eco Olive Oil, and Mielle comes to mind. But the one thing I really appreciate about Miss Jessie’s Jelly Soft Curls is how well it layers with my other CGM ( Curly Girl Method) products. It almost feels designed specifically for layering. I also use a leave in and mousse in my routine, and with many products, that combination can leave my hair super crunchy and cast heavy but with Jelly Soft Curls , curls stay lightweight and flexible while still giving definition and hold. My curls still had movement and softness, but looked much more controlled and defined. I’ll only used it twice, so I’m still sort of trialing it. But it may very well be part of my permanent rotation moving forward.

This is THE hair gel to choose. Forget the rest. I have tried them all for my low porosity fine 3c curls. This gel smells amazing, applies easy, and my curls are super bouncy and soft without the crunch after drying.

I bought these for my daughter who has very curly hair to use while we traveled so she wouldn’t have to take her whole container of hair cream. To my surprise, there is A LOT of product in each of these packs. Bigger than expected. I love the smell of this cream and it really does well in my daughters hair

i love miss jessies products but this one just isnt it. i have 2C hair and i have used this brand a lot in the past but this one for some reason just hasnt been working for me. i ordered it twice thinking it was user error, maybe my hair wasnt wet enough, maybe i used too little or too much product. the first time i ordered it, it was defective for sure. this second time though, its just not a good fit for me. it smells nice but my hair stays frizzy, it leaves some spots on my hair crunchy and others it doesnt look like i even have anything in my hair. i wanted to branch out to the jelly to help define my curls more but its not helping. i may go back to the pillow soft curls or another brand entirely., i was really hopeful bc my hair is super long now and i need something to hold the texture better. but this product didnt do much at all. will be returning again

It's very light product... texture is somewhat non sticky jelly as the name suggests.it glided very easily on wet hair and starts providing defination to the curls.u probably need a light moisturizing leave in conditioner under Neath or hair will tend to become dry on day 2 n 3. Like the thing that it isn't crunchy on drying.it gives light hold.good thing is it's a cg friendly product.wish it provided good hold for day 3 or more.overall nice light non crunchy defining product
