It always seems that my German Shepherd has to poop at the beginning of a hike but far enough away not to hike back to the car. I guess it leads to some people not carrying the bag and leaving it on the trail, which leads to dogs being banned because of bad people habits. I like these. I like the scent. I like the sturdiness. I stuck a couple in my pocket and went for a walk. With my dog of course. So poochy decides to do his thing. I open the doggy bag, stick my hand in and yep, both ends are open.So what do you do then? I hate people that don't pick up after their pets but it's not like I could kind of get it in the plastic and stick it in my pocket for the rest of the walk. I checked out the other doggy bag and...same thing. I have never had this happen before with these bags but it sure was an inconvenient time.If you're wondering...I was a responsible pet owner. Went home. Found that the next doggy bag was NOT open on both ends and went back and picked up after poochy.

You cannot pull them apart. It takes two hands and that isn't possible and hold the leash.

Tear easily and smell great

After having our first child my wife and I bought all of the baby gear that books, websites, relatives and friends recommended. This included a diaper pail that stores dirty diapers.Even with scented bags and a storage system that was supposed to minimize smell we found that any diapers with baby poo would cause the surrounding areas to stink.Now, instead of the pail the accompanying plastic bags and occasional clean ups we just use these bags.I’ve price checked them at both target and walmart and the price is cheaper on Amazon.One bag fits two diapers but I would recommend a 1:1 ratio. My trash service is once per week and the trash can stored in my hot garage doesn’t stink because the bag is scented. This is a much better solution than the diaper pail.

Keep these in your diaper bag!!!! My sister got me obsessed with this idea of having these bags on hand for on the go diaper emergencies. I keep a roll in my car, one in my bag, one at home, one everywhere! They’ve really been a huge help on numerous occasions when I am not at home changing my daughters diaper. The bags are small enough to carry in a purse or bag, yet big enough to fit several diapers, etc in each if needed. Easy to tear off a bag from the roll. Hides any odor, big or small. I use them even if there’s a trash can nearby..... no one likes to smell a baby diaper, or really just the thought freaks some people out. So be courteous and have these bags on standby!

These smell like an old lady’s perfume. It’s honestly awful. I was expecting a “fresh cotton” type of scent. Luckily they’re just meant to pick up poop to throw in the garbage so I don’t really have to smell them :). Aside from the smell, the bags are great. Quality is really good and they work well in the dispenser attached to my dog leash
