Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Liquid, 2840mg Fish Oil, Lemon Flavor - 4oz

I received this within a week ago and I'm really pleased! I've had such trouble swallowing the capsules but had never seen the liquid in any store. When I saw it in my Amazon search for capsule reorder I opted for this. What a relief! It delivers more in one daily teaspoon than the two large capsules and it's obviously so much easier to take. Now, it is fish oil, but the taste is almost as promised, mild lemony. For me, I saw right away I need to take it with food because the oil goes directly to my stomach without the delay the capsules provide. I can tell I've taken it, but so far I've had no real negative reaction and will continue to tweak exactly when to take it. I have not calculated a price comparison, but this liquid says it's only 24 servings (1 tsp daily) and I know the capsules have to be less expensive, but I haven't bothered yet as it's so nice not to work at choking on the capsule! Don't get me wrong, if I could easily take the capsules I would continue with them, but I can't and I need fish oil supplements. Been using this brand for years and am confident of the quality, etc. If the liquid starts to bother me or the price gets out of reach, I'll add a comment, but for now, it's great for me!

High quality Fish oil in 1 Teaspoon. Tastes fine. Lasts about one month. Will continue to reorder.

It doesn't have a strong fishy smell or taste, more like tart lemon juice with cooking oil. My advice is to shoot it quickly and chase it with some water. I would like a sweeter lemon flavor but oily lemon juice beats fishy burbs. I like that it is a liquid because I have worries about actually absorbing something encapsulated. From what I've compared on labels it appears to have very good levels of DHA and EPA compared to other products. I think at first glance it looks expensive compared to capsules, but when you read the labels for how many capsules make a serving to add up to what is claimed on the front of the bottle it really isn't. So I'll stick with it. By the way there is a fantastic pet version as well for your fur babies.

I run a lot so for longevity, I consume a teaspoon of this oil regularly. So far, I have experienced no muscle pains etc. It is not scientific but I do believe it helps me to stay healthy. Follow these steps instead so avoid any unpleasant smell while consuming it:- 1). Slice an orange into 4 quadrants. 2). Pour Nordic Fish Oil a teaspoon full. 3). Hold your breath. 4). Consume the oil. 5). Hold your breath. 6). Quickly eat at least two halves of the orange. 7). No stickiness observe.
