I bought this pen about 5 years ago, and been using it since. So, from that perspective, it's been a good pen. It is easy to fill up, and even the ink-cartridge comes out easy so you can fill up even more ink to make it last a bit longer. The problem is that if you don't do this, a considerable amount of air fills up leading to delays in getting the ink to flow when you want to start writing.My bigger problem is that the plastic which makes up the suction apparatus is of poor build quality, and I noticed a crack a few months into constant use. This happened early enough for me to not consider it as a gift.Regardless, my low rating is due to these problems adding up to a stage that the pen is now not usable. The entire apparatus for drawing in the ink is now broken, and all the individual components came apart when I tried to fill in some ink today. The worse part is there is no corporate website, or any other resource where I can purchase a replacement cartridge, rendering the pen effectively unusable.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this as a gift for someone and it writes well. Shows off penmanship and can be used for writers writing poetry, literature, novels. The wooden material and gold design makes it fancy and would be a great gift for those interested in writing.

I purchased this pen to compliment a journal I was gifting a friend for his birthday and was very impressed when I received it. The wood has a classic look that I feel would inspire any aspiring writer to encourage the pen to go where it will.. which was my hope in gifting it. It didn't seem too light nor too heavy to me and it wrote smoothly. I could see it being a nice addition to already existing office decor or simply something special that is just for you. When I finally run out of pens, I may just buy one for myself too.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter to pair with a leather bound notebook I also bought on Amazon. The wood on the pen and presentation case are truly beautiful and match perfectly. Both are finished with a nice luster and are smooth to the touch. I think it's wonderful that three ink refills are included, it's a thoughtful and convenient supply to have on hand. Sometimes finding a gift that's unique, of quality, and affordable can be a challenge. This pen hits the mark on all three. I hope my photos help you out. I think you'd agree the value is there.

I purchased this along with a planner as a gift for someone. The box it came in was very sturdy and good quality, the pen itself looks outstanding. I was worried that for the lower price, it wouldn't look that great but it ended up looking much better than I expected in real life!It feels good holding it (not too thick not too thin) the wood looks great and it writes like soft butter. Very clear, distinct and not a lot of pressure needed to get very dark clear writing. It was passed around with a whole lot of oohs and ahhhs!I will definitely be purchasing a couple as father's day gifts. (And one for myself!)Great buy, definitely recommend

Its a cute little pen that complements a nice rustic desk, however that is where the good things end.The pen just doesn't fit right in the hand and is quite uncomfortable to use when making caligraphy. It also is very rough when writing, with noticeable grit on the downstroke. Overall I would say its more of a decorative pen than a functional one and it does do that very well for the price.
