Fantastic UV Light Blocking Umbrella!
I already have a few umbrellas. What I've never used before, is a UV light blocking umbrella, and figured I would give it a try, especially with how badly the sun can cook you at the altitude I live at! Serious sunburn in the winter, yep!So, I have yet to test this Dlin UV Protection Umbrella in the rain, as we haven't had any! However, I took it outside during one of our fun, sunny day snowstorms and it does exactly what it claims. Blocks the light and works as an umbrella. On our first 80-degree day (yes, we can go from it being 25 and snowing to 80 a day or two later), I tried it under the midday sun to see how well the UV blocking worked. It works as well as my room darkening, UV blocking curtains in my bedroom! I can actually feel a huge temperature difference between the sun coming through my traditional umbrella, none coming through this umbrella, and direct sunlight hitting my skin.My girlfriend has very fair skin and burns quickly whilst outside if she forgets sunblock everywhere. She'll be the primary user of this umbrella this summer, for sure!Oh, I also like the light blue color over the traditional black or dark blue of my other umbrellas. Nice to see something different that isn't a sports team or crazy geometric design. My only nit-pick? I wish the handle was longer, my monster-sized hands dwarf it. 'Course, you make it bigger, and it's less travel friendly. With care, this umbrella should last for years as it feels well made. The stitching holding the rods in place isn't haphazard; the metal rods are thicker than most umbrellas I've used, even ones that cost twice as much. The fabric seems much thicker than my traditional umbrella. At $19.99, at time of review, I can highly recommend this UV blocking umbrella!

White umbrella, why not?
How many white umbrella have you seen before? me, none. But I saw this one and given the amount of rain in our area this year, had to get one for family.Color besides (that's not reason for four stars) this umbrella opened easily and closed easily. It feels like it's good quality, I can see the springs attached to each rod. it's pretty thick the rod and spring.the black underside i assume it's for UV protection, hopefully its that. This is a good addition to our family. I left off one star because I don't know how long it will last. But otherwise it's good

I love this!
I can't rave enough about this umbrella. I've used it during rain/thunder storms where is hold us few well against the water. It has been hugely successful as a sun blocker when I I have to be out in the hot summer sun. So it is super versatile. I store it in my car where it bounces around so it has held up extremely well to wear and tear from frequent use. I have also gotten tons of compliments when I use it for being colorful and cute. I would purchase this again.

Good Umbrella
Some unexpected rain hit California, so I was able to use this for the first time.First thoughts, I wasn't too crazy about the colors available, but that is what makes it slightly unique. This is a pretty compact umbrella that was easy to open with a nice comfortable handle. The size is good an adult, but maybe too small to fully cover two people. I also like how the water beads off the material. Overall, really good umbrella.

The sleeve and umbrella don't match
I used this for the first time and was impressed. I was going to an event and it was really windy, I had bags in my hands and this umbrella held up. I like that the cord on the umbrella is elastic so it will fit over any sized hands.I am really annoyed that the sleeve cover is a darker shade of yellow than the umbrella itself. Thus is very minor, but it's so noticeable.

Powerful little umbrella!
I'm still looking to replace my almost dead ultra-portable travel umbrella so I thought I'd give this one a try even though I knew it was larger/longer folded length.Wow! Hang on to it when engaging the release button because the spring is strong! Closing the umbrella, same thing. Be aware though, the umbrella mechanism makes a popping sound when activated that is not whisper-quiet.But it's this efficiency of opening and partial closing that is going to make it easier when getting out and bringing the umbrella back in the car.The pink is a nice soft, pearl pink. Having a black liner helps to cut down on glare especially if using to shield from the sun. Additionally, for photo purposes, the black fabric liner won't influence the color balance in your selfie pictures. The fabric seems to be very durable and I'm guessing truly water proof rather than just resistant.I'm leaving on a trip to a location where it's anticipated to be rainy much of the time so I'll have an opportunity to really test drive this umbrella. My initial assessment gives this a thumbs up! Updates forthcoming if needed.

Perfect umbrella and parasol.
This is a nice sized umbrella to carry in your tote or larger handbag. It also has an elastic carry handle/wrist strap so you can carry it out on a walk. The stem of this umbrella is shorter than some I’ve used but makes it easier to rest on your shoulder while keeping your arm and hand at a comfortable position while holding it.It works perfectly for both rain and sun. When used in the sun it actually keeps you cooler. It is always a bit breezy to windy where I live and the wind (as long as there aren’t huge gusts) doesn’t seem to bother it.The closing of this umbrella is a bit different. You unsnap the closure strap, making sure to have 3 feet of clearance you push the button on the handle. The umbrella will open completely. To close, you push the button and the spines will retract. Then using the palm of your hand you press down on the top of the umbrella while holding the handle with the other hand and press together until you hear a click. Make sure the fabric is folded as flat and smooth as you can before snapping the strap around so the cover has room to go on. I find twisting the cover as I put it on to be most helpful.
