The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Vol. 4 (light novel) (Volume 4) (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, 4)

Slow paced but with a meaning.
At the beginning, this volume can be a little slow with a bunch of slice of life in it but it leads to the final chapter where everything gets together to create a wholesome, sugar induced heart attack situation that leaves you very satisfied with the result. I like how Amane is portrayed as an insecure guy who thinks he is not worthy of being together with the angel, then the angel herself just proves him wrong in front of all the nosy, jealousy filled classmates. I can’t wait enough for the release of volume 5 in February! Do I recommend this series? Yes, I do, it has the perfect balance between slice of life, romance and comedy, also look forward for the anime in 2023!

Requited Love
This volume carries this romantic story to the next level. Amane and Mahiru are pushed by friends to up their game. Unsure of the others feelings only time will tell if these two can discuss their feelings for each other. This sweet story is an easy read to its conclusion.

So cute
I love this series the slow burn romance and the comedy is a lot of fun. If you like romance and relatable characters then this story is perfect and I can hardly wait for more.

Progress at last
With volume 3 and now volume 4, it was starting to feel like things were getting dragged out and that we'd have to wait a few more volumes for any progress to happen in Amane and Mahiru's relationship. I was pleasantly surprised that there is some actual progress by the end of this volume. I do wish Amane had been a little more proactive in this arc, but he acknowledges his cowardice himself so I'm hopeful we'll continue to see his character development in the next volumes. I do think that volume 3 and volume 4 could have been condensed into just one volume, but with most of the drama behind us, I'm looking forward to more fluff in the next volumes. And, of course, this story is as wholesome as ever.

Gran novela si lo quieres es llenarte de dulzura
Fue vendido por Amazon MX por lo cual el precio fue mucho mas barato, la calidad es la de esperase por parte de yenpress, en este volumen por fin pasa lo que tenia que pasar...

Some meaningful progress, finally
It's great to finally see some movement forward in this series. However, half of the book feels like filler for something that's already quite short. Basically the same conversation on repeat in different social situations, particularly among the MC and his friends. Despite that I am looking forward to the next one, hopefully now that this part of the story has been completed the next arc will feature less of that stalling.
