I have bought and tasted nine other manuka honeys. On its arrival, at room temperature, this one was unpleasant with off-flavors, strong medicinal aroma, and gritty texture from crystalline content. I put it in the fridge. The next day at fridge temperature it tasted nice and pleasant, with no noticeable off-tastes. Perhaps because the cold honey has thicker consistency than when warm the crystalline content was no longer unpleasant. This was a surprising improvement. At fridge temperature it was easy to take a portion with a metal spoon, easy to handle, and less aggressively sticky. The container is convenient and there was no leakage. Healing properties and effectiveness were not obvious and I have no way to test for them. This is the most reasonably priced manuka honey I have seen, including price per ounce, and its MGO strength seems respectable. Unless I change my opinion as I use this honey, I may buy it again.

Love this manuka honey! I use it for my dog. He has a very sensitive stomach and this works great to soothe his belly and it makes a wonderful way to get him to take his daily probiotics. I just mix the probiotic powder into a small amount of honey and he licks it right up every morning. The honey smells and tastes delicious. It comes sealed so I feel confident it is fresh and safe to eat. In the past I’ve used manuka honey to aid in the healing of stitches. A previous dog had kidney stone surgery and her stitches healed faster than the vet expected. I think it was from the manuka honey I applied to them. It’s also a great natural antibiotic ointment. So it not only helped her heal faster but it kept the wound from getting infected. This stuff is great for many uses. Google it and you will see. I highly recommend.

Not nauseating sweet but enough to give me an after meal finishing boost, a mid afternoon slump bump or a coffee brightening . One small teaspoon is enough to satisfy a “craving” or a larger teaspoon on top of banana, paired with peanut butter; it adds enough, but not too much of a punch to everything I love this Manuka honey. Great price. Came tightly sealed and when opened, the smell of a gorgeous lingering honey smell filled the room Will order again!

This is a creamy formula making it easy to stir into coffee or tea, as well as recipes. It has a mild, delicious flavor. I like the toast much more than the regular honey I am used to here, which is too sweet for me and was upsetting my stomach (and I tried local, creamed, raw and organic).
