Q: can i get extra screens?

This strainer filters is defective plastic housing broke apart after 48 hours small flood in basement returned it

Q: Can this be instaled as a lint trap "Catcher" on a washing machine drain?

I think it would be too restrictive. Q: whats the size of the o ring for this? Mine needs to be replaced but I can't measure if I do I can't get it back on...

No idea. As I recall it is flat where it mates with the base. I also use an adjustable belt wrench to snug the filter cover to the base... ever so gently.
