I have missplaced my contour blood testing units downloading cord. How do I get a replacement?

I do not even know what a downloading cord is.  If you are talking about the charging cord,  You could probably get it through the manufacturer.

How to know whether to buy level 1 or 2 of control solution.  my system came with levet 2.  is this the one i use all the time?

Both CONTOUR® Next Control Solutions (Level 1 and 2) are for use with CONTOUR® Next meters. This aqueous glucose solution contains a known amount of glucose and simply adding a drop of the solution to a test strip delivers results to verify test strips and meters are working properly. Level 1 checks the accuracy of the lower range of results while Level 2 checks the accuracy of the middle range of results. The different concentrations of glucose, allow you to check for test result accuracy at multiple glucose levels for any given batch of test strips. Simply apply a drop of your chosen CONTOUR® Next glucose control solution to a test strip and run a standard glucose test. Confirm that the test results are within the accepted range printed on the test strip vial for the level of control solution you selected.
