Livro veio todo amassado
Chateada que um livro importado veio sem proteção e todo amassado. Já comprei livros de mais de mil páginas na Amazon e não veio assim.

What a story, or many stories, about creativity and female friendships that really helped!
For me, the attention to the late Tillie Olsen was esp valuable, because I miss her, but for others Ann Sexton and Maxine Kumin will be the main draw -- and there are two artists also who did not come through as strongly in my reading. It is kind of a good gossip but somehow much more than that too. I recommend it and also the book (by a male author who is terrific) about Zora Neale Hurston, Ruth Benedict, and Margaret Meade and their work with Boaz on refiguring anthropology.

Book opens wonderfully - just began reading. But wanted to say thanks to Goodwill Colorado right away for the great service, for the better- than- expected copy. Fast delivery, thoughtful packaging, not a flaw on this beautiful copy. Goodwill has been my go-to vendor for books and DVDs becasue they offer great service at a great price and bcause I respect and admire their work. Thanks again, Goodwill!

This is a story of how women became empowered from the 1950's on.
I liked the author's approach. I, too, was an academic in the 60's (still am) and lived a lot of the not-so -subtle discrimination women faced back then. And now as well. It's a story worth telling over and over again.
