This is a great noise generator for getting a great night's sleep. It's small, compact size and clean, minimalist appearance make it great for any decor. The amount of choices, good sound quality and volume control make this a great buy.

Update - Feb 8 2026 Our nap time and bed time routine have done a complete 180. Toddler no longer has a melt down when she goes for a nap/bed. We turn the music on and she lays in bed calmly and quietly. Prior to this product, I couldn’t even get her completely in bed before she’d roll and start a giant melt down. Beyond thankful for this product. Original review - Feb 6 2026 19 month old has been VERY clingy lately and will have a meltdown for over a hour when it’s time for nap or bed. EVERY NIGHT FOR THE PAST WEEK. I bought this to originally cover the sound of other house activities while she slept but it dramatically cut down on her meltdown time. The first night with it on, she only cried for 10 mins and was OUT. Normally she will have a fit and we check on her every 15 mins and lay her back down. After we’d lay her down she is very sensitive to sound and will wake up to a mouse fart. The first night after using this has been a million times better. I no longer have to tip toe just to use the restroom. I was on the fence about buying this at first, but with the unintentional results (cutting down the time it takes her to fall asleep),I’d 100% buy it again. This has saved my sanity. I love the vast variety of sounds it makes, the cute colors and light levels. I’d like if it could rotate through the colors but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. I set this up under her bed so I can just press on with a toe (too pregnant to be bending like that). Super cool that I don’t have to set the timer and shuffle through the songs when I turn it on as it saves what I had last.

I like the variety of colors and the sounds. You can adjust the light brightness. Really helps you to fall asleep. It’s doesn’t take up much room which is great.

We love this sound machine! It helps drown out house noise while the littles nap during the day and allows us parents to watch tv at night without disturbing their sleep. It travels with us anywhere we have to stay overnight. Gives the kids a familiar comfort when sleeping away from home. It packs away easily without taking up much space at all. Very customizable with sound choice, volume, and light changes. Memory holds current setting even after being unplugged. Would definitely buy another if needed. Tip: Make sure it is sitting on a hard surface for optimal sound production.

We spent a lot over the years to keep a smart home and use primarily Amazon products. Alexa has become so unreliable that we decided to dumb down. This was the perfect fit for my son’s bedroom. He has special needs and requires a sound machine. This works well. The natural sounds are natural. The static sounds are clear. It is portable, works as a nightlight in many colors, and will come with us on any trips! The volume is adjustable- I only wish I could adjust the brightness of the night light. Overall, would recommend. Probably will purchase one or two more.

I love the colors and ease of using and inexpensive price. I am going to return it though and order a more expensive one because I really don't like white, pink OR brown noise, or any manufactured noise. I ordered a sound machine to block out the hum of my overhead fan with ocean sounds, and I really didn't like these ocean sounds because they were not soothing, each one had crashing waves, and it was on a short "loop" -- meaning you could tell when the same exact sounds were going to start over. I also could hear the fan motor still if I turned the volume down. So although this was a great price, I'm going to spend a little more for some real nature sounds.

Lots of colors, lots of sounds! User friendly. My 9 year old sleeps so much better with it and and can completely use it on his own. So far has never failed us.

I love this sound machine because it has a variety of sounds and colours to choose from. The only downside for me is that it came with a plug not suitable for Australia.

ColorsNoise Sound Machine (Black top). 3.5 stars I bought this particular one because of the light and also because the variable sound options. I already have two white noise machines, but they play different kinds of white noise and fan noise only, and do not light up. I wanted to try something different to help with the terrible never-ending road construction outside my place which is unbearable. For the constant beeping of the trucks going in reverse I found that the babbling Brook sound played very loud as the most effective at combating that noise! But seriously, just as I'm writing this I started to notice that the track I like to listen to the best has developed a "chirping/beeping" sound. It's extremely regular so I don't know if that's the loop or what has caused that. Very disappointing. The other disappointing thing is at the sound cannot be turned off completely as far as I can tell. You can get it extremely quiet but not silent. So you can't use it as a night light only which would be a really good thing. Maybe that was in the description but I didn't notice it. The other thing that I thought was a problem but it turns out it wasn't was the brightness of the lamp. I thought it wasn't adjustable. Admittedly, I know how most of these things work so I didn't really pay much attention to the instructions, but I was pressing the light button on and off and that's all it would do. I discovered by accident that if you press and hold the button when it's on, the light will gradually dim and if you release it and press again and hold, it will gradually brighten so I'm very happy about that feature! Another surprising and disappointing thing is that the icons on the buttons do not light up !!! If you have the option to order this model somewhere, go for the white top not the black one. At night time you can't see any of the buttons. You can see the circles, but not the function of each button. I can't remember if I had the option of selecting a white one from this order, because I know I wouldn't have selected black, given the choice. Overall a good item, I would have given it 5 out of 5 if these minor (but many) issues were remedied.

After literally years of not being able to get to sleep, and once sleeping, to stay that way without medication - I can honestly say this machine has worked for me. I admit, I didn't think it would, or could help. I was wrong, so wrong, and I couldn't be happier about it! You can set a soothing pastel colour for subdued and calming lighting (I didn't use it, but it is pretty) There are a variety of white noise options to choose from, if one doesn't work, change it. Being able to change the volume is perfect. After a particularly difficult day, I turn the volume up to completely envelop and calm the noise my overactive mind creates. Taking control of my sleep patterns without the need for medication that tends to keep me foggy even into the next day is an amazing feeling. So happy with this purchase!

I purchased this machine again because first, it's a great product, second, it was a great price during the limited-time deal, and third, I'm waiting for my original machine to die because have had it running nonstop for 2 years(I forget to turn it off) and it's still chugging along..I even had it next to my bedroom humidifier during the winter months and it hasn't seemed to affect the machine.
