This splatter screen is awesome. My wife who LOVES bacon said she cooks faster with it. Which is great seeing how we are expecting our first child and nothing is worse than getting hot oiled splattered on you. We now use it for all of our frying. I have since recommended it to my parents and sister in law as well. Awesome seller, awesome product and an awesome price. Yes, I'm a happy person. I received it right on time from the seller.

Worked as intended, but melted in the process. It was still usable, but I don't quite understand why something designed to go over a very hot pan would be so easily melted. Note that most of the cover is metal, except for the plastic handle in the center. I'll try again with a full-metal design

Based off the positive reviews I looked forward to buying this item. However upon opening my parcel, two things were evident. The quality of this item was truly unimpressive and this device came with the most ridiculous packaging possible. First the quality. The mesh is already sticking out from the rim and I'm sure will loosen even more over time. The mesh on my screen also is discolored in places, which makes me worry that there is potential risk of pain chipping off. The handle on mine also has jagged edges, which is just another let down.But what really got to me was the packaging. In order to remove the plastic cover and the cardboard product information piece on the front from this product you will need to completely unscrew the handle. To me this is ridiculous. After screwing it back together the handle is lose and wobbly. I would have given this more stars simply if someone had taken the time to design better packaging.Updated 10/14- in using this product I was equally disappointed. Did nothing to reduce splatter. This item is going in the trash. Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT BUY!!!

Delivery time was fine and packaging was acceptable. The knob on the top of the splatter shield is very cheaply made and arrived broken. I used the knob from an old lid to replace it. Otherwise the screen works.

It works well. I forgot about how screens don't prevent noise (of sizzling bacon :), and how hard they are to clean compared to a solid lid. But it's a good screen.

Works great. Handle is very handy. (No pun intended). Strong enough to rest a lid on top of it for the steam.

The product is a bit flimsy, and the handle in the middle of the screen is not reinforced so there will be a hole through the screen in no time.

No, no, no! The quality of this product is really poor.First of all, really flimsy, it feels like it's going to fall apart any minute.Second, the cardboard label on the front is impossible to completely remove... whatever is left of it is still stuck under the handle, getting all greasy. The only way to remove it is to unscrew the knob and then reattach it again.But, the most important thing - it does not really do what it is supposed to do! It does not protect the stove from grease - the mesh is not dense enough. The knob on the cover also gets all greasy - you don't want to touch it. So, this thing is basically useless. Do not waste your money! I have a splatter guard from a dollar store, which I've had for years, and it still does a great job. I paid a dollar for it. This thing is overpriced and does not do the job!
