Mrs Darlingtons Legendary Lemon Curd (11.3 ounce)

I purchased this lemon curd spread because I used to make my own and wanted to see if there was one out there on the market that was comparable? This came very close to my own in terms of tartness, (I don't like the ones that are too sweet, as it masks the tart flavor of a lemon). I like lemon curd spread on toast, something I had in England, and have been trying to find one here. I could make my own, but it is a long and tedious process and hard for me to get the right kind of lemons,(Eureka type). The packaging on the jar was very charming, it looked like something you would buy at a Farmer's Market!

Some lemon curds are super yellow. gelatinous , and sour. Mrs Darlington's us the best I've ever had. Creamy and delicious. Although I'm not proud of it, I eat it out of the jar with a spoon. You could put it in a tart shell. It's also great on toast, muffins, scones.... pretty much anything. Honestly, its addictive, so be careful!

I was so happy to find Mrs. Darlington's on Amazon. We originally found this wonderful lemon curd in Wales and brought several jars home in our suitcases, but we soon finished our supply. Oooooh Noooooo. It just tastes better and has a better mouth feel than any other curds in the US. The seller on Amazon does an excellent job of packaging and the shipping was rather fast.

I have eaten a lot of lemon curds in my life time. I have even made homemade lemon curd that was delicious. This is equally delicious and I can’t get enough.

I usually buy this from a British Shoppe, but it is a lot more expensive there. It is so good that u can eat it out the the jar. Takes like a delicious lemon meringue pie filling. I have actually used it for that!

Needed lemon curd for a fruit tart filling. Didn't want to make my own. Ordered this based on reviews and was not disappointed. The filling got rave reviews! I will be ordering this again: )

I'm very disappointed in my purchase of Mrs. Darlington's " Legendary Lemon Curd". This curd is actually made with margarine and not butter! Shame on you Mrs Darlington.

This Lemon Curd it beyond the word Amazing!! I am trapped by language to give a better word than AMAZING!!! I am giving this Lemon Curd to all my guests at my 2017 Christmas Party! Purchase it !!! TRULY MADE WITH LOVE!!!!
