LEUCHTTURM1917 - Notebook Hardcover Master Classic A4+ - 235 Numbered Pages for Writing and Journaling (Navy, Ruled)

These are my favourite notebooks. I can't get them easily in Italy, so have to buy in bulk when I visit the UK and bring them back with me. Worth it.

Das besondere daran ist, dass die Seiten 100 Gr haben anstelle der sonst bei Leuchtturm üblichen 80 gr. - dadurch kann man schön mit dem Füller schreiben ohne dass die Tinte durchdrückt.Für mich klare Empfehlung im A4-Bereich.Leider gibt es die 100 Gr. Variante nicht als A5...

I like so many things about this notebook, which are detailed in the description. I analyzed & compared endlessly because I’m anal about my journals (and fountain pens!). The quality is good, with an impressive number of pages. But I’ve seen a lot of competition that matches or beats this journal for less $.I took a star off for two reasons.1. It arrived with a corner permanently bent. Since the cover is basically thick cardboard, the edges can be bent easily and I’ve seen this issue with other buyers. Not a huge deal, but for the expensive price of the journal, you want it just as you’d pick it in a store.2. The lines of the book are too wide for my liking. It made me feel I was practicing cursive in grade school. I read the reviews & was under the impression that it was more like college ruled sized lines.I’d encourage people on the fence about buying this to compare with other brands before making the plunge.

I like this notebook a lot, but wish it had the 6mm line spacing that their other notebooks have. The line spacing in this is somewhere around 8 1/2 mm, so about "Wide Ruled." If you're like me and like slimmer line spacing, you're better off getting the master A4 slim which has the 6mm spacing. Or, if you really want a big notebook like this, you can get the dotted notebook. Those dots are 5mm apart and the dotted books are very versatile. That's what I wound up doing, and I hope I wind up liking it. Still gave it 5 stars even though I returned it because it's a great notebook with fantastic paper quality and a well thought out design.
