Unsafe to purchase!!
I purchase items on Amazon weekly and never write bad reviews however this item is unsafe!! I had a substantial injury to friends resulting in medical bills and potential law suit. I originally asked the seller to refund my purchase not knowing the extent of injury. I am now facing a potential lawsuit based on injury when the item broke with no reason. I am requesting amazon remove this from their inventory. The response I got from the seller was that they would give me a 15% discount or I could return the item. $1500 later in medical bills to avoid a claim against my homeowners insurance, I just want this product taken off Amazon. Please do not purchase as this could have resulted in a much worse situation!

Very disappointed
Overall, nice looking and instructions fairly clear. There were a couple of cracks in the wood however. After a couple of uses, I noticed more cracks and the perpendicular support poles on the gliding mechanism kept popping out almost tipping the bench backwards. We’re going to have to do some reinforcement work for me to feel safe.

Wish I had never bought this
I am used to buying furniture online and putting it together with directions that leave a lot to the imagination. That said, this is the worst furniture purchase I’ve ever made, and I wish i had never bought it.This glider was a problem from the beginning. I built it 3 times thinking if I just tried something else it would work right. I had multiple other people stop to look at it and tell me if I was doing something wrong.I finally thought i got it right only to have a friend use it and the rocker completely lifted out of the base. Now, I’m trying wood glue but I’d rather burn it.Edit: wood glue did nothing. I now just have a rickety bench that is detached from the glider.

Don't waste your money
The legs on the chair broke o in the first week. Fixed it and tried to enjoy it. After the first rain, the "weather proof" coating cracked and started peeling. Contacted the seller for a refund. After days of back and forth and picture requests, they declined to give a refund. To their credit, they did offer to replace it. I live in the PNW and if that's what happens after one rain, it will not last. Don't waste your money.

Be careful sitting on it
I had read the reviews about it breaking and falling over backwards and thought they must’ve put it together wrong. Nope, it happened to me. The problem is the vertical sections of the base are held into the runner by a small brad which came out the first time I sat. I drilled and countersunk a stainless steel screw into the runners to keep it together and it is holding together now. There was also some paint problems. Most is a good glossy finish but there are many places that are rough finish with wood showing through the white.
