They may look like plastic but they sure cut like a knife.
I have been hand shredding meat and chicken by hand for years. These will make your kitchen time go by fast. I sit at the kitchen table, there are two bowls and start shredding. You'd be amazed how much you get with the shredder vs. doing with a fork.
