Más producto del esperado
Un muy buen producto, sinceramente me sorprendió, ya que yo esperaba 8 piezas y en realidad lo que contiene el paquete son 8 pares. Asi que tengo repuestos para varios meses sin preocuparme.

Very durable
I had purchased the gray crutch tips a few months prior to ordering these black ones, and the gray ones just didn't last. I already went through the whole box, because the little protective disk inside kept working its way out the side of the tip within just a few days, and then the tip failed completely a few days later. These black ones, though... oh how great they are in comparison! Made by the same company, and even though the price is the same, they're so much more durable than the gray ones! I bought these black ones a few months ago, hoping for something more durable, because I'm a big man, and my crutches go through a lot keeping me mobile. I've now owned these black tips about the same amount of time i owned the gray ones before the gray ones wore out, and I've only gone through one set of black ones compared to going through 8 sets of gray ones in the same amount of time. I'm not sure what the difference is in the materials of the two colors, but i surely recommend these black ones over the gray ones.

extreme lack of durability
I am a daily crutch user ( read that as 5+ hours a day for 42 years ) and know a good tip from a bad one. These tips are the latter. Specifically, most tips have a metal reinforcing disc in them to help prevent wear and tear. With the tips I've been using, the discs are somehow forced out through the rubber sides which then allows the end of the crutch to punch through the bottom of the tip and come in contact with the floor. That is an accident/fall waiting to happen as the crutch end will slide out from under easily. Maybe it is a factor of weight ( 240 lbs here ) or the fact that I'm an above knee amputee who puts a crutch tip to the test. I don't think so, though, as I've had other tips that performed much, much better. So...buy beware.

Good size
I've been using crutches for the past 66 yrs. I'm active around the house with daily chores and going out to shop. In the early days, the tips lasted a much longer period of time. When I was young, my father hardly ever had to replace the them. For the last number of years, my tips have to be replaced every 3-4 weeks. It's a real nuisance. I have to ask my husband to do it for me. The quality of rubber is not as durable as in the old days. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I have not been able to find anything better. If anyone knows of a better crutch tip, please let me know.

Crutch tips
High-quality rubber crutch tips for aluminum forearm crutches. They have a good tread and last a long time. I feel very safe using them, but of course, always be cautious to avoid them from slipping when walking on smooth surfaces such as wood or tile flooring if it's wet.
