Realistic beetles
They’re made of plastic—what more do you want? In my honest opinion, they’re very good for what they are, especially for the price. I only wanted them as a display for my son’s room, and I think they’re great as an educational tool to help him learn about different kinds of insects. Honestly, they do a good job of resembling real insects. If you want something more realistic, you can buy preserved (taxidermied) insects. But I love these because I know my son will be able to play with them while learning at the same time.

Very realistic, heavy duty plastic. Hard and heavy
Bought for my ridiculous cats. They love them and haven't choked on any parts. They just love attacking beetles. I figured, let's work out this insect bloodlust on some lifelike toys. They seem to love them.

Lower your expectations.
Not as colourful or as detailed in person. They models in the photos are a much higher quality then what is sent out.
