BOSS Katana-110 Bass Amplifier (KTN110B)

This is a great amp for home practice or out on a gig. It’s plenty loud for home, decent enough for practice, and with the built in DI works good on stage without blowing everyone else away. The different modelers and effects give you a lot of options and flexibility. Hard to beat at this price.

I love this amp. It functions precisely as you think it would, and will serve you well in a band practice or a solo recording effort. The clarity is excellent, with a lovely range of clean tones and too many combinations of gains, compressors, to even get into here. Of course it is heavy, and you won't find a good bass combo that isn't. That said, I would consider this highly portable compared to my buddy's vintage Ampeg head and 8x10 stack :D

I have been using it as the bass player for the worship team for a few weeks now. Sounds better than the more powerful Fender we were using. I like the XLR out directly into the sound system although loud enough without going through the sound system in a room that seat 500. No issues.

Got the Boss Katana 110 amp to go along with my new Ibanez SR305E bass, and this thing rocks. It has a whole bunch of effects and tone controls, from compression and amp modeling, to modulation and reverb/delay. Hooked it up with a USB cable to my PC, and with the Boss Tone Studio application, I can customize the settings even more. This thing also has plenty of power, and can get a lot louder than you would expect. Even in my own house, I usually keep it at the 1W practice power level, otherwise the walls would be shaking and the whole neighborhood would be hearing me. Bang for buck this thing blows away the competition.

I had to purchase a new bass amp and didn't want to mess with a used one. I researched many amps and this is the one I ended up with. Often, bass amps are very heavy and although this one has some weight to it, it is much lighter than some I've owned. This did not diminish the sound though. I love 4 band equalizer as it produces a sound that I need. Also the effects work quite well when and if you need them. The sound has some punch to it and produces jut the right sound I was looking for. If I ever had to replace this amp, I'd consider purchasing this again. I highly recommend it.

I love the versatility of this amp. I bought the Bluetooth adapter as well, so that I could utilize the Katana’s app. Since Boss is a leader in the efffects market, having the great variety of sounds at my fingertips makes it so much fun to practice. Sound is solid, I am an absolute beginner, so I don’t need it to play to a venue with a band, but that being said, it definitely will shake the room. I Really like the build quality as well, very solidly built. I returned an Ampeg a couple of years ago, because the controls felt chintzy. Would recommend this amp..I included a pic next to my Ric so you could see a realistic comparison for size. Hope this review helps

I plsy guitar, but have been playing bass for fun and to record. I love this amp. It has plenty of volume. I live in a house so I can get it as loud as I want and I don't turn it all the way up because it would be painfully loud. You could practice with a drummer/band but it has a very functional (3 options) direct out that would be perfect for gigging. The onboard effects are good. Use the app. You get a ton of choices. I really like the option of turning the tweeter on and off.

Love the versatility of this amp. The Bluetooth adapter and foot switch are must buy addons if you plan on making full use of all the onboard effects.

Great amp. Its louder than it looks. I use it in the house and on 2 gigs so far. Great tone.

Buen terminado, trae protección en las esquinas, el material en general es de buena calidad. Tiene muy buena potencia, y un buen sonido. Además, se complementa muy bien con los efectos que ya trae instalados, si aspiras a ser un buen músico, este producto te va a ayudar a tener un buen sonido. Además, puedes ampliar tu cartera de posibilidades con los demás productos complementarios de la marca. En general, considero que es buena opción. Lo uso con un bajo Yamaha de 5 cuerdas mod. TRBX505, y se complementa muy bien.

Excelente compra, el sonido arriba del stage como si tuviera 150 wats de poder. Los efectos y ecualizador son de otro nivel !!!! RECOMENDACIÓN AL 100. Lo uso con un Bajo Activo Rogue de 5 cuerdas.

Suena impresionante. Lo uso para ensayar en banda, y está al nivel de sonido de las guitarras, que normalmente opacan. Múltiples efectos que vienen por defecto y que se pueden cambiar. Muy buena compra.

Excelente amplificador y con gran volumen tanto para ensayos como para tocadas, el volumen excelente, sin problema para una tocada de 200 personas. Compre el Rumble Studio 40 antes que este, y es una basura. Si están por decidirse entre estos dos, sin duda él Boss Katana es la mejor opción, 1000 veces mejor.
