Beautiful and comfy
Update!!! I've owned 6 corsets from Orchard over two years!!! Quality is going down!In Feb 2019 I purchased this corset in a 30 and the quality was stellar. The mesh has been a favorite of mine living in a hot climate and I've owned three in black mesh specifically. My first CS411 in black mesh was in a size 30 and was heavy, the boning was amazing.I then sized down to 28 in October of 2019 with a PVC CS411 Orchard corset and was gifted a cotton CS411 Orchard corset as a gift in Dec 2019 (The packaging from the website is way better, its lovely by the way, amazon ships in a dirty plastic bag which is disappointing) The quality on these CS411's was amazing and they were all heavy... in a good way.Fast forward To Jan/Feb 2020 I sized down with a Satin CS411 and another mesh CS411 as summer in the desert was coming. The quality was noticeably different, the corsets were oddly lighter but I chocked this up to being a much smaller corset than I began with on my corseting journey with Orchard. The Satin CS411 was okay, but the mesh in the 26 was a noticeable lesser quality, even the mesh itself just didnt feel as durable for whatever reason. The stitching wasnt as nice, and all around it had a more mass produced and cheap feel vs my original mesh CS411.It is now January of 2021, I gained a lot of weight during the pandemic and needed a size 30 corset again. I had been wearing my 28's but I wasnt very disciplined with my corseting this year, that combined with the weight gain I sized up finally (though I did retain a more hourglass shape, corseting does work) Anyway I didnt have my old size 30 anymore because I gave it to a friend when I hit a size 26 so I purchased old faithful, a black mesh CS411 corset in size 30... I am very disappointed. It's extremely light, to the point I really question the boning, the stitching is meh and the quality of the materials is noticeably cheaper and mass produced feeling. The quality just isnt there. I owned this exact corset in 2019. Even the cord to lace up the corset feels different? I am confused enough that I wondered if this was counterfeit, but after inspecting it I would say the corset is authentically Orchard.I've been loyal to Orchard corsets through my corseting journey, but I'm going to need to explore other brands. I've gotten at least 7 people hooked on Orchard and so I feel really let down.I worry this corset wont hold up like my old ones, honestly the ones I owned previously were amazing, I am a tight lacer and have worn for 10-12 hours a day at the height of my corseting. Orchard held up to a pretty active life style honestly. I will update after I break this one in and once I can close it/am ready to size down to let you know how it went, but I'm cautious for now on giving my seal of approval sadly. On the plus side the corset is very comfortable already with no breaking in and feels it may be sturdy enough to hold up over time even with the lesser quality. The boning is less stiff and I found the corset conformed to my body quickly even though it isnt yet broken in. Maybe theres hope. I won't be returning because Id like to see how this works out before I give up on Orchard. I just really have loved their corsets. I've worn corsets for twenty years but had not bought a nice corset with sturdier steel bones until 2019 when I found Orchard. They were affordable and quality and I fell in love.First two corset photos were from my original review and toward the beginning of my corseting journey in a size 30 the second photo is in July of 2019 and you can see I was inching towards closure of the corset and the last three are to show the difference in my corseting with closed or almost closed size 28 CS411's also from Orchard, just in another style. I dont have many photos of my 26's as I didnt wear them long when the pandemic hit and I became depressed and didnt corset as often. You can see the difference in my body and I went from very strait shaped to hourglass when un-corseted. I went from a 37 inch waist when un-corseted in feb 2019 to a 30 inch waist un-corseted by Jan 2020, I was able to tighten my waist in the end to 27 inches back in Feb of 2020. Thats one year of corseting consistently almost every day a min of 5hrs but often 10 to 12 hrs a day.I paired my corseting with a good diet and exercise, and did lose wight but I believe the corset assisted with this and did reshape my body. It helped me feel sexy again, gave me confidence and reduced my ability to overeat(I struggle with this so it was a benefit, I was able to eat normally and did not have a reduced calorie diet really). I also have chronic pain and corseting really helped my back and gave me support. All around my experience with corseting has been positive.Original Review from feb 2019 purchase:I contacted the company directly for sizing help and they have amazing customer service as well as many informative tutorials. The corset fits very well, is super comfortable and breathes which is essential as I live in the desert. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely order from them again.Update its July and Im able to almost close the corset!

Ok however...
Only sad thing is how its mesh has weak points where they sew it into the bones and has tears after short periods of use(2 weeks). Otherwise a top notch product.

Great fashion corset but not really suitable for serious waist training.
Nice off the rack corset for the money but I wish I'd known more before getting this as my first waist training/ tight lacing corset. The mesh just doesn't have the integrity needed to hold you in tightly enough to lace down. On top of that I was talked into getting a size WAY TOO SMALL (I'm a 32 so I should go down to a 26 if I want to waist train but Orchard recommended I go with a 24), there's at least a 2-3 inch gap open beyond the modesty panel which looks silly and means I'm losing out on a lot of squish in the back area because the corset barely covers the sides. This makes it difficult to lace down, I have to struggle to even lace to a 31 inch because the fabric has give. It ends up being as uncomfortable as an elastic cincher because its pulling on the skin, even over the liner, rather than properly constricting my waist. Waist definition is much less too because of the stretchy mesh. Bought a cotton/ wool waspie hourglass corset from Timeless Trends and wish I'd gone with them instead from the very beginning, their corsets are properly constructed and heavy duty enough for daily wear and thus much easier to lace down. For a fashion corset though this mesh is great so I would recommend getting your normal size rather than sizing down too much. This corset would be better for waist training/ tightlacing in the cotton version.

On the big side, but a good starter corset
I ordered this as my first serious corset, and while I am happy with it, it does stretch a lot. I am about 5’5 with an athletic build and my natural waist is about 26” so I ordered a size 20 as it is one size down from 22”. This resulted in a corset that fits much better than I imagine a 22” would have fit me, but I am able to lace down to almost closed on my first wear. Would recommend ordering another size down definitely if you are on the squishier side. There is some rippling on the boning stitching that I am not impressed with. Overall a nice corset, but I foresee myself needing to order a smaller size soon

Love it!
This corset is so comfortable! I didn’t purchase for waist training but rather for support of my back. I have spondylolisthesis and when I’m wearing a corset, I don’t experience the pain I normally do. The mesh is comfortable and easier to break in. Per Orchard Corset, you may want to size down one in the mesh. I did and it’s perfect.

So far, so good!
I am new to corseting. I am a woman in her 60s weighing over 200 pounds. I also have terrible posture and some back pain. I am still in the seasoning phase, on Day 3. It is easier to put on every time I try it. The YouTube videos are immensely helpful.I bought the corset mostly for its external "lap band" effect. I'm doing intermittent fasting, and during the window for eating, I overdo it. Wearing a corset makes me feel full much more quickly, so I hope I will be eating less volume. I am sitting and standing more upright, since the corset doesn't allow rounding of the lumbar spine.I hope to stealth wear it, once the corset and I are fully seasoned. Meanwhile, since I'm retired, I can just wear it over a tight shirt whenever I'm at home and not doing anything strenuous.I appreciate the coolness of the mesh fabric and the sturdiness of the construction.

Not the same Quality as before from Same company
I am returning this to replace it with a different size. I have a few from this company. I first started ordering from them about 8 years ago. I think the boning is not a structured a previous corsets. The sizing seems to be off. I am going to replace it because of the sizing issue.
