I am a female, even though the account says Robert because I share this with my husband. Anyway, I do not spend a lot of money on hair care or make up or any kind of self-care items like that. In fact, I use Madison Reed to color my hair myself at home. That being said, every time I finished coloring it and use the shampoo and conditioner that comes with the coloring kit my hair turned out amazing. So when I saw that I could get the shampoo and conditioner on Amazon, I decided to try it even though this is a splurge for me. But the great news is it is so amazing! I live in an area that has hard water and my hair is normally dull and does not keep its color for very long. This shampoo and conditioner works miracles with my hair. It’s shiny, manageable, soft, and styles so easily. I cannot say enough, good things about this shampoo and conditioner. I was considering getting a water softener because it was so bad but now I don’t have to. Totally worth it.

This is the best shampoo for color treated hair! Just a little goes a long way; lathers up very well with just a couple of drops. Smells great! Leaves hair looking and feeling shiny and very soft. I've had many compliments on my hair while using both the shampoo and color products. Highly recommend them!

This shampoo is a must even if you don’t use the Madison hair dye which by the way is very good. The shampoo is soft in your scalp and gives the hair color a longer period of life. I truly recommend it.

My wife's review: After using 1 entire bottle, I decided to like this product because it does extend my colored hair. It seems to have natural ingredients. However, I wish the scent could be better although the scent is not bad. It just doesn't smell as good as other colored shampoo and I have tried a few. My prior shampoo was Redken. I thought Redken was good, but discovered that Madison Reed is a superior brand. Not only does it maintain the color, it also cleans the scalp well. I also love Madison Reed permanent color. Their brand is expensive, but I feel my hair is worth it. One disappointing note: the conditioner bottle came without a cap! :(

I’ve used this shampoo since I ordered it online during the pandemic. It makes my hair soft, but too soft, clean and shiny. It’s my favorite shampoo now.
