It works!
Saved my Delonghi Coffee maker. Good quality stainless steel. It splatters a bit like other reviews mention but I am not complaining :)

Holds 18g just right
This bottomless portafilter feels solid and well made. The stainless steel body has good weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap. The handle is comfortable and sturdy, and it locks in securely on my machine without any issues. The fit is good, and it’s a great upgrade if you want better visibility on your extractions. Once dialed in, the shots pull smoothly and evenly. Definitely a noticeable improvement over the stock portafilter. For the price, it’s a strong value and feels built to last. I had a extra handle and switch out to make more my aesthetics

If You Need a Coffee Shower, Get This!
This handle doesn't fit the Stilosa tightly. Making coffee sprays water all over the place. If you get this, get a fishbowl to put your Stilosa in to catch all the coffee. My favorite was when coffee dribbled off the front of the handle and onto the counter -- while spraying out both sides. But go ahead, get one. It will turn your Stilosa into a comedy routine. When I did manage to get a shot of espresso out of this thing, there was absolutely no crema. Ugh. Turn your espresso maker into a pour over. The Stilosa pressurized basket makes much better coffee than this thing.

Works for De‘Longhi ec260 Stilosa WITH SOME ADJUSTMENTS!
I have the De’longhi Stilosa model EC260bk and I was originally looking for a new pressurized portafilter to have an extra, when I discovered others using this bottomless non pressurized portafilter! I am new to espresso making, and did some good research. I agree with some other reviews about leaking and spraying. As you can see from my photo of both portafilters lined up together, they are both 51mm on the inner size for the basket cups, but original is slightly larger around the rim. This causes some issues when locking the new portafilter into the machine. I messed around a little and saw that if I turn the bottomless a little further around than the original, it can work. The original being about 6oclock as the locking point, the bottomless had to be turned to around 4/5oclock position. That being said, the shot I pulled from it was not creamy or good in quality, so once again I messed around with suggestions over the internet and saw that most people say when using a pressurized espresso machine, a non pressurized portafilter needs more fine coffee grinding. Keep in mind, you technically aren’t even supposed to use a nonpressurized portafilter for the machine, so this is truly against the manufacturing! I grinded much finer and saw better results, but the original had same creamy amount as bottomless. I will keep working on it to see if I can get it any better, but that is my experience. If you have the time and patience and want to see how it goes, many seem to say here that they have had awesome results! But if you aren’t really that interested in the extra effort I recommend getting a replacement part like your original one. Good luck, and enjoy your coffee! PS, the stilosa is also amazing. Even without that new portafilter, I’ve had some epic coffee since purchasing! I also decided to upgrade my milk steamer by taking the silver piece that goes on it off, and then using something to tie around the black nozzle to keep it on, then steaming with just that! Gives a much less foamy milk, there are a couple youtube videos about how to do this! Takes getting the right technique, but super good! UPDATE: I believe I still see this item as good, although I haven’t been able to really make it the best it can be. As I mentioned my machine was made for a pressurized basket, not a bottomless. It has been a lot of extra effort to pull good shots from it, I needed a good tamper, distributor, and thankfully I had a grinder because it requires MUCH finer grounds. I also got a screen for the filter, and it doesn’t do terrible! The shots are still strong flavor but not much in creaminess. I only use it when I have the time and patience, so I will leave it with the same good review, because it is a good product. Just not the best for my machine. Some I see have found a way to work it and make it great but I think if you arent able to do the work I said, stick with the OEM.

Game changer.
I was actually kind of surprised when this showed up. My expectations were pretty low for some reason. But when it came I found it to be of really high quality. It looks and feels good, it almost is nicer than the espresso machine. I did have some concern that the machine wouldn't be able to handle it as the manufacturer actually states that my Delonghi Stilosa doesn't have the ability to manage pressure without the provided pressurized basket. But this works great, over and over again. It really made dialing in a lot easier. It is much nicer than the provided portafilter and fits perfectly. Do yourself a favor and order this, get rid of the pressurized basket. I don't have any issue with leaking, and the basket fits snugly into the machine. Fantastic portafilter.

Dont listen to the "spray" sayers.
People who are saying this leaks or sprays just have poor prep techniques, and that is coming from someone who literally just did this today for the first time (not using a pressurized basket). I have a delonghi stilosa ec260bk. I found the sweet spot for me to be about 17 or 18 grams in. Using a puck prep and tamping kit i got from Amazon for $25, I used a WDT to do an initial distribution and insure the coffee was even with no pockets in it. Then I used the included distribution tool to pre tamp and distribute more evenly and more level. I then tamped down with all my might pretty much and put a puck screen on top. The result was an amazing crema that came out in drops for a 1 or 2 seconds before meeting in the middle for a light, gold, blonde crema coming straight from the basket. I tried using 14 grams at first and it was simply too little and I didnt get the uniform dispensing I described before, but as an espresso noob, I found this super easy to use with just a bit of effort. Mind you this was 1 week old cafe bustelo pre ground. Not any specialty coffee or fancy grinder. Dont listen to the people who say it doesn't fit or that it sprays. If you turn it as far as you can, put the right amount of coffee with the right prep, and give it a couple trys to get right, you will be super happy. Oh yeah, not to mention.. the build quality arguably nicer than the machine lol its shiny and feels like it should cost twice or 3 times the price.

Works great after some practice!
I initially had trouble using this with our basic De'Longhi espresso machine. Would get spray everywhere. It turns out it was user error. After getting a better grinder, better practice filling and tamping, I was able to get it to work. Makes for great espressos. So just be aware it takes some practice to prep the coffee puck to get it work as you might expect.

Does not work well with Delonghi Stilosa
UPDATE: The biggest issue is the basket that comes with this product. I got a different basket and the experience was much closer to what I was expecting. Still only three stars as they could have supplied a better basket. I’ve tried a few times and have done everything correctly as far as I can tell but the product doesn’t appear to fit the machine correctly leading to leakage out of the side of the basket and sprays of coffee shooting down into the cup. This is much worse than the pressurized version that comes with the machine. The product is basically unusable for this machine.

it’s an excellent portafilter, and with steady hands, everything will work perfectly
It’s a bit strange to read reviews saying that coffee sprays everywhere with this portafilter. It doesn’t offer any special advantage over a standard portafilter in terms of taste or espresso quality. What this filter actually provides: 1. If you make mistakes when tamping the coffee, it may result in splashes, uneven flow, and other issues. This means your tamping technique is incorrect and needs practice. Once tamping is done correctly, the result will be excellent and splash-free. 2. It is significantly more compact in height, which allows you to place coffee scales on your machine’s platform. 3. It enables more experimentation with grind size.

Quality product that fits IMS basket on delonghi
If you have a delonghi espresso machine with two ears portafilter and want to start with unpressurised basket. This is the perfect tool. High quality and affordable price. Don't buy it unless you have a espresso level grinder.

Excelente para la Delonghi EC260
Excelente producto.

Works well for a DeLonghi ECP3620
Fit great and seems better made than the original. Fit my ECP3620 perfectly. Very satisfied with the purchase. Given the lower price I was worried it would not arrive. The product took an extra week to arrive and I was worried it was not coming but I was happy when it arrived and it fit. Well worth the price.
