Comes with 2 batteries which is great for run time, the battery only takes about an hour to charge. It’s small and easy to use for many age ranges! Definitely a fun boat and comes with spare props and tools also. Water tight and seems to be very well built considering the price etc. Would buy this brand again.

This boat is absolutely amazing! My kids and I had a blast at the lake playing with it! I was impressed with how easy it was to steer my kids had no trouble driving it around! I love how it comes with 2 batteries so you don’t have to wait for it to charge if it dies; you'll alway have a back up one charged! Extremely easy to set up and get going! I promise this is worth every penny!

This RC boat is super fun and easy to assemble. It has a great turn radius, good speed, and is easy to navigate. I got this boat for my students as I’m a swim instructor. The kids loved the boat and it seemed the dads loved it too. So much that the kids barely got a turn. This boat is great for all ages and is all around a good product for some water fun.

This is a fun toy! It is fast and drives well. It is a bit hard to maneuver, but I think it will get easier with more practice. The battery didn’t last as long as I suspected, but luckily it does come with two. It is easy to switch the batteries out. The remote works well. When trying to reverse it goes slow so it is hard to notice it is going backwards, but I learned to us the wheel on the remote to turn the boat and that is easier than using the reverse feature. My kids have also had a blast playing with this! Fun for adults and children make it a great toy!

The boat is fast and fun. This one has 2 motors so it’s really powerful. My original idea was to attach a net to it so I could collect leaves on our pond but it unbalanced the boat. As a recreational speedboat it works great. Also, the Syma company has been great and kept their word on their toy recycling program which speaks volumes to me. I really like them

The only way to go slow, as one would like when learning or teaching a child, is use momentary pulses. The control is not intuitive and awkward to use. It requires two hands. The left hand holds the control and activates a trigger to go forward or backward. A rotary knob on the right side is turned clockwise (away from the operator) to turn right and counter-clockwise (toward the operator) to turn left. There is no rudder, and there are two motors, so turns require differential power and always include forward motion. As far as I can tell, there is no way to turn in reverse. The trigger is pulled back to move straight forward and and pushed forward/up for reverse. Reverse makes a lot of noise but isn't very effective motion wise. As noted above, the control is very sensitive so low speed is very difficult to achieve.Our pool is about 12'x25' so not small as backyard pools go, but because of control sensitivity and difficulty maintaining slower speed, the boat is not suitable for our pool. Very difficult to avoid slamming into the pool edges. No protection on the nose so I expect it won't last.A much larger pool or a lake is required for a relaxed experience.This control is not suitable for beginners.The amazon listing claims it has a "dual waterproof design". NO! The outer hatch is strictly decorative. It does not seal.Update: Downgraded to 1 star ... after more use, discovered that the controls don't provide variable speed. Strictly on full blast ... forward, reverse, left, right ... and backup is worthless as it just goes in small circles. Going back to Amazon.

This toy was great for only a couple months. Screws came off propeller after a handful of times of using. Wasn’t damaged. Just fell off. Was fun while it lasted. Seemed to run great. Light weight and easy to use. Lots of people thought it was cool while it was working.

We bought this boat for our son as a fun toy, but I caught myself wanting to play with it just as much as our son did! Boat is fast! Easy to use. Comes with all the tools and batteries. We tried it out in our pool. Next place that we’ll be taking it to is a nearby lake to really let the fun begin!
