Now that I have used these, a review is needed. I unfortunately work at a car dealership. I heard work of a co-worker in distress and embarrassment in front of his customer so I went to the rescue. This co-worker of mine decided to drive a Cherokee off of the overflow parking pad in the back of our building, down a very steep hill, which was covered in 2 feet of snow, and then a 3 foot snow bank to the street. He made it almost 1/4 of the way and was stuck. He then tried to shovel the Cherokee out....The customer stood there and watched all of this, surely impressed with this Jeep's off road capability. When I drove up to him I remembered my Maxtrax were in the Wrangler! I laid one in front of each front wheel and pushed the back of the Cherokee as he gave a little throttle. Once they hooked up the Jeep when down hill 10 feet until it sunk into the snow again. Doing this three times allowed us get to the plowed road. Needless to say my co-workers customer did not buy the Cherokee, but was very impressed with the little orange recovery ramps known as Maxtrax. Be cool, buy some. Don't be like the co-worker.

Great boards, will not break after one use like a lot of the alternative cheaper boards. If you need them and are alone off roading, these are my choice. You get what you pay for.

I bought these 8 years ago. I finally used them for the first time. Jeep got stuck in the snow and I had two wheels completely off the ground. Jeep wouldn't budge... I tried rock stacking. Nothing. Busted the max traxx out. Crawled out like nothing...
