This hose holder was exactly what I was looking for. It looks great, feels sturdy, and is a huge improvement over having a garden hose piled up on the ground next to the house. I’m currently using it with a 50-foot hose, and it supports the weight without any issues. The metal construction feels solid, and it has held up well so far. Ignore the red markings in the photo. I handed my wife an oil based paint marker to mark the holes and she accidentally pumped the marker on the outside of the hole. Installation was straightforward. The holder itself mounted easily, but I chose not to use the included hardware because I was attaching it to brick. For masonry, I generally prefer Tapcon screws over standard anchors. For anyone mounting to brick, I used: * Tapcon screw size: 3/16 x 1-1/4 * Masonry drill bit size: 5/32 The included anchors may work fine, but I didn’t test them because I went straight to the Tapcons. Full disclosure: I never even opened the instructions to see what mounting surface the included hardware was intended for. Overall, this is a sturdy, attractive hose holder that keeps everything organized and gives the side of the house a much cleaner look. Five stars from me. I’ll follow up in January to see how it handles a Midwest winter.
