So gar so good
I put this in a dana 30 with new 410 gears about a month ago. The break in on the gears has just passed so I have only recently tried the Grip pro out. I did a slow crawl up a stepped hill that is 45 degrees and better just to test the function of the unit. My jeep creeped up the hill and never broke traction. I am impressed. Since I found no reviews on the unit , durability is still up for grabs for now. But I will write a review on that subject in the future. The grip pro is a great working LS ! I have a clutch type LS in the rear axel as well and it takes more pressure on the ring gear to get it to lock up that the all gear Grip Pro unit. So far I am very pleased and if it holds up I will get another for the rear axel as well.Up date; I have been on several trails here in Tennessee since I put the unit in. Mostly mountain trails and loads of very big rocks. I have yet to get stuck in a position due to bad traction. This is not as rigid as a locker but the traction has not let me down and in some cases it seemed to get me threw arias better than the lockers on the other rigs. Still very happy with it!Update 2; I have completed 2- 7+ hour runs at Coppengers Cove and Bryants Cove this month. I have put this unit threw everything I believe anyone can find to put it threw, and the thing is flawless. From deep mud to rock climbing on steep hills with very big rocks I have yet to spin just one tire. It works period. If it was going to break or give out , it would have by now. I backed up a steep rocky hill , putting as much stress on it as the axel would handle, and eased up the hill with full traction. I did have a little wheel spin but both were spinning when this happened.I am planning a Rubacon trip next year.and will upgrade the 30 to a purpose built 44 for that trip. I will be using the Grip Pro in that build. I drive the Jeep every day and never know the unit is there. We will be driving our rigs to Nevada ; doing the Rubacon; and driving back if that is any indication of the trust I have in this unit. I am still very pleased with it and will be getting another very soon for the 44.

Locks up like a locker
Oh man what a sweet unit. One big toe on the brake pedal and it locks right up one wheel in the air on each axle is no issue at all. Like it way better than an the various auto lockers I have ran and to tell the truth I like it better than my old ARBs. Granted not a dedicated rock buggy but the high bias Limited slip action really keeps you going and you can actually turn with full traction in the muck unlike any locker and when you hit the rocks they compleyely lock up with just the slightest brake pressure and unoticable on The road so its not gonna waste expensive tires in half the time they should last. In the rain they are even more well behaved than the old traclok as they are not preloaded like a friction type L/S. Still cant believe how easy they lock up and how solidly they lock, guess thats why the military uses torsen type diffs. Very accurate machining, make sure you get setup bearings and extra shims. Highly recommended, higher bias than the truetrac I have ran and should be much tougher.

Nice manners on the street. Smooth install.
I installed this in a 2015 Chevy Express 3500 passenger van with the 3.42 factory gears. Factory backlash was .007". I got MOTIVE GEAR GM95IKL install kit. I used the bolts (left hand threads) and gear marking paint. I bought new TIMKEN SET42 carrier bearings. Don't have a press so I tried heating the bearings up to 275°F and cooling the carrier on dry ice. This wasn't quite enough and I still had to drive them on the last bit with a big brass drift. The limited slip carrier went together with the same shims on the left, same setting on the right adjuster, and ended up with .006"-.007" backlash and what looks to me like a good pattern.Driving on the street there is no noise, clunking, pushing, etc. Nice and mild driving gently on the street. Hard cornering under a good bit of throttle I could hear the inside tire gripping for traction. I haven't taken it on dirt. I'll update the review when I do.

Great product
Great product well made . It made the installation quite simple.

A tru LSD with no clutches to wear. But gives you the traction you need.
Installed the Grip Pro on rear of my 2015 Jeep JKU Willy's addition. Replaced the stock worn out Track Loc.The new Grip Pro is invisible on the street but very noticeable on the trail. Can't wait for some snow to get after..

Works just like a truetrac.
Did front and rear in a 3.8 JKU. 5.13's and 35's. 8000 miles so far no complaints.

been through hell and loved it
The media could not be loaded. i had this installed in my jeep simply because i don’t know how to set backlash but ive got 33-14.00-15 boggers and ive sent this jeep through mudholes up rocks and down creeks and it never missed a lick there is a lil trick to jt though which is normal with torsion style lockers if you seem to not lock in with a tire off the ground hold the breaks for a second lightly under power and ittl lock in them let go of the breaks but ive bear this locker up and it’s been though as nails hasn’t let me down at all i have a 1991 jeep cherokee dana 30 high pinion (HP)
