This beautiful specimen piece was hand dug from the Arkansas hillsides and hand cleaned on our Organic Farm in Austin, TX. 🍃🍃🍃 Quartz crystals are silicon dioxide, one of earth's most abundant minerals and have piezoelectric properties- they develop an electric potential upon the application of mechanical stress or pressure. Quartz crystals are commonly used as Crystal Oscillators, an electronic oscillator circuit that uses the mechanical resonance of a vibrating crystal of piezoelectric material to create an electrical signal with a precise frequency. This frequency is commonly used in watches, computers, cellphones and other electronics (source- wiki).🍃🍃🍃 This piece is a Master Healer Stone, due to the fact that at one point in its life, it broke off a larger matrix, and then re-healed, leaving a lovely lace-like crystal pattern on the underside as the stone continued to grow on its own. Having healed itself, this stone is said to aid in sharing the experience of self-healing to its user. This specimen is considered a Bridge Crystal, as it has a large Double Terminated companion partially embedded in it. This quality is said to facilitate bridging between inner and outer worlds, the self and others, or the self and other worlds. Bridge crystals are good facilitators of communicators, and teachers. 🍃🍃🍃 The barnacled baby crystals attached all over the base are said to help support those working in service organizations like healthcare.
