Professional results at home!
I have color treated blonde hair that I take really good care of and using a hot tool as much as I do requires a good quality product. Really impressed with this iron. It was a dream to use and did an amazing job of giving my hair the finishing touches to my straight blunt bob. I have been using one of the top of the line flat irons but this is so much superior. No grabbing, so many heat choices and a pleasure to use and the results are beautiful. Great choice.

Real (if you order from Amazon) and also is an amazing flat iron!
I ordered this from Amazon and not a third party seller about 6 months ago and waited to do a review so that I could see how it works after the return window. I have super curly hair (I know the name on the review says Doug- I am his wife and have long curly hair). I would not describe my hair as textured, but it is probably around a 2C/3A on the curly hair meter. Is it Genuine Babyliss?I actually was very concerned about the possibility of buying a fake knock-off, so I waited until Amazon was back in stock with it. I made sure that it said "Ships from and Sold by Amazon", and not just "Fulfilled by Amazon". You may have to choose Amazon from the list of sellers if they're not the cheapest one at the moment.I am so glad that I waited, because I'm sure that this is real. To test it, I timed how long it would take to heat up, since that seems to be the defining factor according to the reviews. It took less than a minute, probably less than 30-45 seconds, to heat up fully. Is it a good flat iron?YES I LOVE IT.To be fair, I was coming from a cheap-o Remington flat-2-straight (which, for the price, is a decent flat iron), but this is amazing and I LOVE IT.I used to have this problem with my old flat iron where if I decided to wear my hair straight, the next time I washed it, I would have a bad curly hair day because my hair was so fried. And I couldn't even think of straightening it two wash cycles in a row.Now I flat iron my hair most of the time and I still don't have split ends or dry hair. And I don't put any product in my hair before I straighten it either.I still use this if I want to wear my hair curly- I put it on low heat and gently loosen the curls on just the top of my head so that it's not a rat's nest up top but it allows my ringlets to stay in tact below. I would never have been able to do this with my old flat iron.I can also use this to make my hair wavy instead of curly by doing the above on all my hair.If you have hair like mine and you don't want it to be stick-straight (which it will do for you if you want), do just a tad of blow-drying straightening beforehand for the volume.I can sometimes make my hair straight without sectioning out the layers, but that's only if I'm really short on time- I still recommend sectioning them out.My hair stylist swears by this flat iron, and now I see why! But she did scold me for keeping the temperature too high- I had it at 40, which worked very well and I didn't have to pass over it twice ever. My hair stylist recommended no higher than 35, which doesn't work quite as well, but now I damage my hair less. The one con: No auto-shutoffI almost didn't buy this because it has no auto shutoff and I get really paranoid about whether I left my hair straightener on. I am SO glad I decided to buy it anyway, but for those of you who are concerned, do what I did and buy a thing to put in your outlet that has an auto-shutoff on a timer (mine was Belkin Conserve Energy Saving Outlet). I just keep my flat iron plugged into it, even if it's not plugged into the wall, so I never forget to have the backup safety measure.I hope this review was helpful, and I really hope you decide to buy this flat iron so you can be as happy as I am with it! If you buy it from Amazon and it's not what you were expecting, you can always return it!

Good product for the money
I was a little concerned at first because the plates did not fully come together just holding it up in the air. when you put pressure on them they do come together fully. I can assure you, this has not been an issue. The iron works great.. I have medium length, pretty fine hair. It is so smooth, and the temperature is very accurate at about 28. The plates are very long, this is super helpful to get through my hair quickly. Also, it curls nice, I was pleasantly surprised. Now the things I don't care for: The plates are very hot on the outside, totally normal from what I have researched, but if you have kids around, be very careful. I will note, they only get the most hot at the tip. Also, no auto shut off. This surprises me for the cost. All in all, a very good iron. it does come with 4yr warranty, so we will see, and hope it lasts. My hairdresser recommended this one, I will take it to her so she can check it out when I have my next appointment.

Worth every penny!
I just purchased this babylissPRO nano flat iron a week ago. I wanted to use it a few times before writing a review, knowing how important reviews are to me when making a decision to buy a product. This is the best flat iron I have ever used. By far. My hair dresser has used this iron on me many times and I always assumed it was so easy for her to straighten my hair because she was a professional...so I never asked until the last time I got my hair done, what type of iron it was? (A little history on my hair: total nightmare. Frizzy, fine, very naturally curly. I could never straighten it because it just looked like frizzy and damaged straightened hair, plus it took me about 45 min to an hour to straighten.) I have in the past year gotten a brazilian blowout treatment, which has allowed me to start to easily straighten my hair and it no longer looks so unhealthy. My old flat iron was one I bought from target and spent about 50.00. I thought that was a decent flat iron. Decent is the operative word. I bought this babyliss model by recommendation from my hair stylist, she stated that not only would it be easier to use, it would be kinder to my fine hair. I have to say it is AMAZING. It easily glides over my hair without pulling, it's hot enough to straighten my hair once or twice through. As for the reviews about it being so hot that it burns hands/fingers or hair...I actually bought a glove due to those reviews. I have not needed it once, its hot but doesn't burn ANYTHING. I bought the one inch and find it works perfectly, so easy for my inexperienced hands to use. But, I did see there are larger plates for those that would prefer.I would definitely recommend this flat iron...and this site by far has the best price. It is worth every penny!

love it. very happy.
I love this. It was recommended fed to me by a friend who is a hair stylest. My hair is very very thick and wavy curls.Things I love.It gets hot fast. Not a lot of wait time compared to my other ceramic plated flat iron I had. Not a top name. I think a conair. It makes amazing curls!! Thay stay all day! The first time I used it to curl my hair and I curl my hair often. I got so many complents. All day long people were Commenting on how nice my hair looked. The outside get real hot so when curling you get hest all around. The plates are long so as my hair sped in the iron it's getting straight in one shot.It makes my hair very soft and smooth. It's a styling tool. It really is. I used a chi for a short time. And I loved it. This is for me a lot better. The plates are longer and curls better. With a chi I am able to add volume to my hair easier but it's because the chi is shorter and I'm familiar with it so it's easier to move. But I'm practicing and it's getting easier.Cons:It gets hot! My other hot iorn has a spot to grab and pinch the hair. I made the kistake of pinching the blades on this and it burnt.. bad.Won't do that again. LolThe paint is coming off already. I have it like 2 weeks. And I've curled my hair 3 times. From curling the paint is worn already around the edges. It's longer but thinner then other flat irons I've used and is taking a bit to get used to.After using the same style of flatirons this is different in the way you hold it and manipulate the hair. So practice. Not a big deal. It's not a digital. I really enjoy the digital dials. The on button is in a place where I keep turning it off. Not that big of a deal because it heats back up in about a minute. And it might be the way I'm holding it or used to holding it.Not to many cons. And I love it.It was between this and a chi smart. And compared to the chi I'm so happy I got this. I enjoy it so much better. Even though I never bought a chi like I said I've always used them. And I had a chi smart for 3 weeks borrowed before I bought this. . It is a lot better. Does everything a chi can do.

ABSOLUTE BEST hair straightener
Absolute favorite hair straightener. Owned my first one for 12 years before buying a replacement. Works great, heats almost instantly, easy to use. Has multiple heat settings and a slim build, making it ideal for everyone. Highly recommend!

Makes My Hair Look Shiny and Perfectly Straight!!!
I ABSOLUTELY adore this flat iron. I used to have super straight hair in high school that I could just wash and let air dry, and it would be perfectly straight as if I had used a flat iron on it. However, as I've gotten older, my hair has become a little frizzy and has a weird wave to it when I let it air dry. I usually just pull my hair up in a ponytail because I have never found a flat iron that makes my hair look silky and straight. I can finally stop searching for the perfect flat iron because I have found it! I had my friend bring over her flat iron one day and do my hair for me, and it looked so silky, shiny, and perfectly straight. I couldn't believe my eyes. As soon as I found out what straightener she used, I searched Amazon and bought myself the 1" BaByliss Pro Nao Titanium. I just got it in the mail today, and my hair looks insanely good. I can now wear my hair down like I used to be able to! I am so happy :) I paid a lot of money for a dark purple GHD straightener from Sephora last year, and I was very unhappy with the results. It never straightened my hair completely (I have fine thick hair) and it always made my hair look very dry and dull, even when I used heat protectant and BioSilk and other products to make it look shiny and healthy. I love that I can change the heat settings on this BaByliss Pro unlike my GHD which only has one heat setting. I will be a BaByliss fan for life now, and I'm super excited to be able to wear my hair down and try out different styles again :) If you buy this flat iron, I guarantee you won't be disappointed! The only minor thing I do not like about this BaByliss is where they decided to put the on/off button. The first time I used it, I accidentally turned it off 3 times because I hit the button while using it. I think I will get used to not putting my hand on the button the more I use it though.

I am in love!
This is the best flat iron I have ever used! My hairstylist has this flat iron. I could not believe how quickly she could straighten my hair. My hair is naturally very thick, wavy with a little curl, and past my shoulders. Anyway, I was looking for a good flat iron to replace my ceramic Jilbere flat iron. It was taking me forever to straighten my hair, and I was easily getting split ends when I used it. I had researched the Instyler but found a lot of mixed reviews. Plus- I still have a scar on my arm from when my friend's Instyler burned me. Ouch! Plus- it was pretty expensive. My hairstylist always talked about how her Babyliss cost around $150. I could never bring myself to pay that much for a flat iron. Thank God for Amazon! I got the Babyliss 1 inch for $68.00! I could not believe it! I received this 3 days before the estimated delivery date. It was amazing. I straightened my hair in about 15 minutes. Usually it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to do my hair. I think it took me about 15 minutes because I was trying to figure out the right heat setting to use. I love how wide the plates are. My hair doesn't fall out, and I can take thicker sections. My hair looks so shiny! In one or two swipes my hair was smooth and silky. My hair stayed straight for two days afterwards. I had to touch it up (which took about 3 or 4 minutes) but only because I took a bath and got my hair alittle wet in some places. I also curled my daughter's hair in about 2 minutes. The curls came out beautiful and were very easy to do. Her hair is straight and very fine. I am so happy that I have a salon-quality flat iron that comes with a 4 year warranty. You really cannot beat this. Merry Christmas to me! :)
