Fantastic, easy to easy, and completely blocks light from entering the less opaque linen curtains in my new place. Wasn't sure how to use drapery hooks (never done this before), but super easy to pin them in to the back of the existing curtains and this blackout curtain just hooks on to them and hangs and blocks the light. I think this means I will be able to sleep in later in the morning, as much as the natural light is nice here, I need it a little darker when the sun rises! Highly recommended. Photo shows the difference between the original curtains only on the left, and the curtain with the blackout curtain installed. Took less than 10 minutes!

I moved to a new house and bought some nice curtains to cover the sliding patio door. However, the material was too thin; once we started having more daylight hours, the sun was shining right into my eyes every afternoon even with the curtains closed. I was resigning myself to buy new, heavier curtains/drapes when I spotted these liners and thought I'd give them a try. They work perfectly and I didn't have to spend $80-120 for new curtains, plus I really liked the ones I had originally purchased and I'm glad I don't have to replace them. The only issue is they are an odd size, slightly smaller than my actual curtains, but it works out, so 4 stars.

Bought the item and noticed that my room started smelling very chemically. I also bought curtains and wasn't quite sure what the culprit was. But I was able to pinpoint this blackout curtain liner as the issue, and after washing in vinegar one time and baking soda another, the chemical smell is slightly gone but still very prominent to the point it smells up my room. It gets especially bad when the sun is shining and very warm out. Would not recommend.

These are fantastic! Very easy to attach to curtains, it came with everything needed. I payed way too much for blackout blinds that have light still coming in around the edges. Added curtains with a special rod that keeps then tight to the wall to put on top of the blinds and I could still see light! After installing these liners I think I could have skipped the blinds all together, they are that great. The picture is with one panel on and blinds up.

Great blackout curtain liner. I bought blackout curtains for my room but working nights it was still hard to sleep during the day. This liner was easy to attach to my curtains with the included hooks. The liner made a huge difference and my room is twice as dark now. (See photos: one window with liner one without; second picture with both lined.) I did have light leaking around the edges, so I ended up tucking the liner around the blinds and left the original curtains out, which cut out almost all the leaking light. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

THESE SMELL HORRIBLE! I bought this specific one from Amazon because they claimed to have no chemical smell. I can't sleep in my room if the curtains are open because it's too bright, and I can't sleep with the curtains closed because it's TOO HOT. That's why I bought these liners. I even rushed the order because I am a tired human being. And then they smell to high heaven when I opened them. They're completely unusable. I would love to message the seller but can't seem to find the means to do that. PLEASE contact me so we can fix the issue.

These are amazing!!! I same day delivered them yesterday and they arrived on time. I immediately hung them behind my existing Pottery Barn curtains using the clips I already had. They fit the width of each panel perfectly. THE DIFFERENCE IS LITERALLY NIGHT AND DAY!!We used to have dark brown, thick curtains that did a pretty good job of blocking out the sun. Then, we bought floor length ivory colored curtains to make the room feel less drab, but that came with the price of having the full light of sun drenching the entire room as soon as the sun rises. I was having a hard time falling back asleep if I awoke before my alarm went off because of how bright the room was.I was looking for something of quality that got the job done, and this product does it! It also gives the existing curtains a bit of extra weight, which I like.

I bought these to back some white cotton grommet curtains I had hanging in my baby's room that were not black-out but that I liked very much. Once I figured out how to use the pins (piercing the top thicker portion of the curtain and pinching the pin closed) I hung these blackout drapes pretty easily on the existing curtains. They made a huge difference in the amount of light let through which I am hopeful will help my baby nap better. I have even pulled the curtains closed over open blinds and they still block the light. I deducted one star because I washed and dried and ironed these as instructed but still pieces of the material flaked off almost like it was scratched. Since they aren't seen, I suppose it doesn't matter much but it does worry me if I ever have to wash and dry and iron again. These 88" blackout liners fit perfectly on my 95" curtains.

I really like them, they Really block the light but they don’t show through the decorative curtains. I wish they could close a bit better as I can see a small slit of light between the two panels. But the panels themselves are great!

Wish they had better sizes. Blocks out light very well, and some of the cold. Don't know about the heat.

Easy to install and great blackout effect. Allowed me to keep my current curtains. Very pleased!
