Fantastic
Why pay over £100 to enrol at a summer course to teach you to draw when you can purchase this book and do it yourself at home. Worth every penny especially during these times when costs for education are getting higher.

It has good tips to handle illustration. Talks about body proportions, drawing heads and the rest of the parts of the body. It helps drawing poses and of course coloring. The book includes computer tips and technical drawing.

Beautiful, concise book...
For any beginner at fashion design or just wanting to familiarise themselves with illustration techniques, this is an excellent stepping stone you'll refer to time and time again. It covers the basic techniques from correct proportion all the way through to technical garment drawing - and beautifully illustrated. Naoki Watanabe can bring out the creativity in anyone with this book!

Ok but be aware of differences in technique
This is a very good book in that it goes through detailed approaches to drawing. I am experienced in drawing so didnt find the exercises difficult. Especially helpful are the focused examples and drawings of hands, feet and faces. The one thing to be aware of is the length used for the model- it is a standard in fashion illustration to use the so called 9 or 10 head model and in this book the writer focuses on the 8 head which makes the models too short for a standard fashion illustration. It is a bit confusing at first since other books follow the longer model but if you are aware of this then it is a very good book.I only gave it a three for this discrepency in using the standard format used by all fashion illustrators.
