Ankle Holster For Concealed Carry with Handgun Rug Bundle | Neoprene, Universal, Pistol Leg Holster w/ Mag Pouch For Glock 19 26 43, S&W Bodyguard .380, M&P Shield, Ruger LCP/LC9, Sig Sauer, Walther

We have a Sig Sauer P238 .380 Auto and a Sig P938 9mm. After reviewing dozens of ankle holsters I purchased the DPA ankle holster for the P238 since it was noted as fitting in the holster. It works very well and is comfortable. I then tried the P938 in that holster and it also fit so I ordered the second holster. I have two suggestions for DPA Ventures. I am very pleased with the quality and the workmanship; however, if the Velcro tab that secures the pistol were about 1/4" longer, the fit would be perfect for the P938. As delivered, the tab only engages a few rows of Velcro hooks and tabs. The extra 1/4" would provide more secure storage. The other suggestion is to provide a small Velcro feature for the magazine pouch. The magazines for the P238 and P938 are small compared to the pouch and with the open-top design they could easily slide out. A small Velcro tab at the top could help secure the magazines. If someone wanted to carry a larger magazine, the Velcro tab would not interfere.Two images are provided of the P938 (left) and the P238 in the ankle holsters. The Velcro tabs are purposely misaligned to help show how much of each tab will engage.

My M&P Shield fits as snug as a bug in a rug. The spare magazine also fits nicely; but I find it can be cumbersome to remove - especially in a SHTF situation. The holster does snugly fit my leg. It didn't take me long to barely notice I was wearing it. However, there are three things that could be improved.One, some type of covering for the inner portion of the holster. Sheepskin, or something along those lines. It would increase the comfort level dramatically.Two, although my M&P Shield is a smaller gun, it takes some effort to draw it from the holster. Granted, the holster IS new, so perhaps after breaking it in, that can improve. I will say, however, that the strap which holds the gun in the holster fits nicely. Again, I think this is just an issue of using the holster for a time until it breaks in.Three, I have noticed that my gun has printing issues. Although I think that may be due to just proper positioning while wearing the holster. Possibly getting proper pants might help with that, as well. If you're not looking for it, you probably wouldn't notice. But if you are looking for it, you might notice it.Overall, I think this would be a great choice of holsters if it is a backup option. And a better than decent choice if this happens to be a primary option.

Holster is very comfortable, has great adjustment from small to larger ankles. Have some concern that in the heat of summer will sweat badly under the neoprene. But, so far, no problem and I would recommend it as it appears to be well made.

2nd UPDATE- after starting the return process (couldn't find the "replace" option in "return/replace" page), I was very quickly contacted by the seller offering to make it right immediately. Since I had already initiated the return, he immediately refunded my credit card back $18.95 and already has the replacement on the way at no additional charge. That, is a solid seller and one I will continue to do business with. I think some of the bad reviews here may be from other sellers, and I did notice that most of these reviews are from verified buyers while some similar items reviews, while "glowing", have less verified buyer percentages, and one has "zero" certified buyer reviews.I will definitely do business with DPA Ventures in the future in complete confidence. Wore it around for about 4 hours, then when I did a "test" release / draw, the "strong Velcro hammer strap" almost came completely off .... it's held on by 2 threads. I came back and went through the reviews, and prior to the last 7 days, it was all 5 stars, in the last 5 days, it's all 1 star, so it could just be a bad lot, or, I just happened to get a bad one, or there are some phony bad reviews from the competition/unverified buyers.Really like this Holster .... fits my LCRx nice and snug, very little movement while walking, and very comfortable.Considered other similar items for $5 to $8 less that had as good or better reviews, but decided to pay the extra for the lifetime warranty.

I've gotta tell you, as if a bad haircut, ill fitting suit, and donut glaze stains on my tie aren't enough of a clue, this holster has a fantastic record of providing opportunities to let others know that you are a law enforcement officer. Man, i tell you, never before have i had a product fail so repeatedly on me at the most inopportune moments. And since the thought of a grown man dropping a gun on the floor is enough to freak most adults out, this holster give you *plenty* of facetime with potential 911 callers to identify yourself and explain to them that there's no reason for them to freak the hell out. Nah, man - you're just a federal agent with a crappy holster with VELCRO MADE FOR a BABY's DIAPER and not for hauling around a professional piece of Austrian metal. Put down the phone, sir! I'm just a retard at my son's parent teacher day at school. No need to dial the police, vendor at the airport - nah, i'm JUST A STUPID CHEAP COP WHO THOUGHT THAT a $15 holster would hold my Glock 26 snuggly and securely. Dropping my gun in a packed restaurant, been there, done that!So, yes, i encourage you to buy this product especially if you're ugly as sin. It's a great way to meet people.
