Is this transmission compatable with a 3.73 ring and pinion gear ratio?

it will work with the 373 but you will need the right spedo gear. i'm using it with 355 gears.you will not have much of a 1st gear.with 355 gears 60 mph is about 2000 rpm in 5th gear.

Does this model use an electronic or mechanical speedometer output?

I don't know but l have 1990 mustang gt and the installation was the same as the factory trans

Does this input for manual speedo cable or is it electric sensor only?

mine is manual speedo,i don't know if it will work with electronic speedo

Great upgrade

Great upgrade..definately would recommend My car is a daily driver 1990 Mustang GT with a few add ons.More hp and more torque than stock..much better 2 to 3 shifts and with 3.55 gears the 2.95 1st is a useable gear
