Family Guy Season 13 Dvd

The big "event" of Season 13 of Family Guy was the crossover with The Simpsons in which the Griffons find themselves in Springfield. All of the major Simpsons characters appeared, and there were inside jokes and callbacks to things from the past of both shows. From there, the season pretty much played out as it always has, basically having a storyline or two of the week in a given episode, but not really any kind of story arc extending through the season.For those who get the DVD, the episodes are uncensored (they drop f-bombs quite frequently) and, because the show is still popular, you do get some extras. These include a making-of feature on The Simpsons episode, deleted scenes, an animatic version of the episode where Brian and Stewie take Chris through time to teach him history, and commentary tracks on select episodes. My only complaint is that the commentary tracks are not accessible through the extras menu. You have to go into the menu for each individual episode to see if there is one available for that particular episode. So, if you use the "play all" feature to watch the episodes, then go into the extras menu, you have no way of knowing which episodes have commentary tracks and which do not. Aside from that, you get a good amount of material if you like going through the bonus features.By now, anyone who is considering getting this knows what the show is and what it is not. The jokes can be very offensive and almost no topic is off-limits. While I still think that the original run of episodes from before FOX canceled it after the second or third season was the best, it is still a strong series (if you like adult (sometimes very adult) humor). If however, you have never been a big fan of the show, nothing about season 13 is likely to change your mind.

I'll save another breakdown of the episodes and details of those. Family Guy is hilarious and fun to watch over and over, commercial free. Sure you can catch some episodes on Netflix as they rotate the seasons out, and maybe on some other services, but you can't always watch that exact episode or whole season that you want to.That's why you should buy this. Watch your favorites whenever you want and laugh until you cry.

They work, but unlike previous seasons (since they started doing 16:9 widescreen) this season is all interlaced for some reason...? If you don't know what video interlacing is, look it up... But in short: it was done for analog tube TVs, and looks like crap on conventional modern digital displays (see my picture of a frame from episode 1). You can use software to de-interlace but it usually sacrifices quality to some extent and its pretty unacceptable for DVD video made in 2015... There should be a warning or this season should be significantly discounted due to this, they don't have interlaced video shown on TV so why not give people buying your DVDs at least the same quality that people watching it for free get?

First off: I've been waiting for months fit this season to be available for it is the only season of Family Guy I was yet to see. I've been wanting to watch Brian the Closer and Book of Joe forever; they exceeded my expectations!!! I've only watched the first disk so far but now I'll be able to say I've seen every single episode of Family Guy within a few months lol.

Family Guy is my favorite show!! I watch it all the time. I never get tired of the jokes. My husband and my sister-in-law quote it all the time. It's always and inside joke for us. I LOVE family guy! Thank you Seth MacFarlane for your brilliant mind and voice! You make every Friday night hilarious

I'm so used to television series seasons being more than $20, it was nice this series is as affordable as it is, especially because I love it! I'll often stream it, but on the days my internet isn't working so well, owning a DVD copy allows me to still enjoy the show!

Season 11, great quality, progressive scan. Season 12, great quality, progressive scan. Season 13? Bad quality, Interlaced. I'll keep it, but if something happens so that Season 13 becomes available in the same fantastic quality/progressive material - I'll be upgrading. I'll also be paying close attention to reviews because there was no mention of this version consisting of poor quality material - or I wouldn't have bought it.

Einfach nur genial. ^^ Die dreizehnte Staffel von Family Guy. :D Comedy und schräge Sachen die hier passen. 😅 Am meisten mag ich die Stewie und Brian Folgen/ Episoden. :)480 Minuten der Family Guy in voller Person. ^^ Ein Muss für Fans und ansonsten ein schöner Zeitverteib. :)Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Box. Ich finde finde es auch schön, dass die Folgen unzensiert sind. ^^Danke an Amazon und den Verkäufer. 👍

Wie mein Vorredner muss ich sagen, dass im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Serien, nicht von Staffel zu Satffel die Qualität abnimmt, sondern von Season zu Season die Gags und lustigen Momente zunehmen. Besitze alle 13 Seasons und kann kaum die nächste erwarten.Ach so, die Bildqualität ist vom feinsten, wenn man bedenkt dass es sich um eine animierte Zeichentrickserie handelt.Einen Stern Abzug wie bei jeder Staffel für diese dämliche Spindel wo die 3 DVD's übereineindersitzen, billig und lieblos gemacht. Und es besteht die Gefahr das die DVD's verkratzen.Dafür werden die Staffeln aber nicht mehr abzockemäßg auf 2 Teile aufgeteilt, was früher immer direkt 60 Euro für eine komplette Staffel waren, sondern seit der letzten Staffel sind immer alle Folgen drauf, bei der hier handelt es sich um die komplette Staffel 11.KAUFEN, SUCHTGEFAHR!!!

Endlich ist ist da, die Season 13 (Original die 11. Staffel, da die vorherhigen immer gesplittet waren, gut dass nun seit der vorherigen Staffel alle Folgon komplett sind)Ich finde diese Staffel ebenso gut wie die vorherigen, als Family Guy Fan muss man diese in seiner Sammlung haben :)Ebenso gut finde ich die Jubiläumsfolge yug ylimaf (Da ist wieder der berühme Chicken Fight mit Peter und dem Huhn, aber dieses mal ist es etwas "andrersherum" :D, mehr verrate ich euch nicht :)

Hallo,Ich habe mir die Staffel gekauft, wegen der Simpson-Folge!Die ist aber auf Staffel 15!Noch dazu kommt, dass sie nur auf Englisch ist!Bin sowieso kein Family Guy-Fan.Geht wieder zurück an Amazon oder wird umgetauscht!
