JVN Complete Pre-Wash Scalp Oil, 1.7 Fl Oz

I only shampoo my hair about once a week, but I use this every time. The dropper makes it easy to target the scalp. I will massage the oil into my scalp and leave on for 20-40 minutes. This washes out easily and has completely saved my used to be flaky and dry scalp. I’ve tried many moisturizing shampoos and products, none have kept my hair as healthy and my scalp as hydrated without being greasy. There’s not much of a scent, the oil goes on light and smooth. I’m on my second bottle and plan to repurchase when this one ends. A little pricey but will last me a while and is well worth it to not have to keep searching for products that don’t work like this does. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed! Pro tip: don’t sleep in it, it’s meant to be washed out the same day. If you find your hair oily after washing then you’re not getting it out correctly, try really lathering your shampoo/double shampoo if you find it to be an issue.

I was looking for a scalp oil because I have highlights and color on my hair. This can make a person’s scalp dry, makes your hair a damaged, dried. So, when I received this oil, I waited a couple of days, (I researched this oil for weeks) I decided to go ahead and try it. I’m glad that I did, I placed it directly on my scalp, by parting my hair. After I got it on my scalp, I slowly rubbed it on my scalp, it slowly came out on to my hair, the more I rubbed it, the more my hair became oily, all the way down to my ends, left it on my hair for about 15-20 minutes, this is a before shampooing treatment, dry hair. I’m sure that you can use it on wet dampened hair too, just before shampooed. After I waited, I took my shower, rinsed my hair, the shampooed, then conditioned. Blow dried my hair on light heat, my hair felt really really good. It had more shine, soft, manageable! Scalp was not itching, dry. My hair looked so much better. I also used a moisturizing shampoo, and conditioner. Put heat protection on my hair too ( always do this especially for damage control). I will purchase this again, you can also purchase this from the actual website. A male stylist is who came up with this. Love it!!!

I thought the oil was good. It was a good consistency and loves the tube it came with. Not sure if there was a difference just from this oil but it definitely took a part of the growth.
