The Rapid Cool bottles have honestly made our nights so much easier. Instead of waiting around for a bottle to cool down while baby is crying, it cools in less than 2 minutes!! it’s genuinely that fast. Such a game changer when you’re exhausted at 3am! They’re also brilliant for travel. Super practical, easy to use, and give you peace of mind knowing you can make a feed quickly wherever you are. I highly recommend this product to any parent, especially for newborn days. And if you’re getting it, I definitely suggest buying the RapidSteriliser too, it makes the whole process even more convenient. Couldn’t imagine night feeds without it now! I honestly don’t know how we managed before getting the Nuby RapidCool. Those middle-of-the-night feeds used to feel endless—waiting for boiled water to cool while the baby is crying was stressful and overwhelming. Now, with this little miracle, the formula is ready in just 2 minutes. It’s hard to explain the relief of being able to comfort your baby almost instantly instead of pacing the kitchen at 3 a.m. The twin pack is perfect because I can prep two bottles quickly, and it’s so portable—I’ve taken it on trips and even used it in the car. It’s simple, fast, and safe, and honestly, it’s given me back a bit of sanity during those sleepless nights. If you’re a formula-feeding parent, this will change your life. I wish I’d bought it sooner—it’s worth every single penny for the peace of mind and those precious extra minutes of sleep.

Best thing since sliced bread! It is actually magic. So easy and literally ready in seconds! As a FTM going out was always a worry with formula, this is the answer. Stress free! And the flask stays HOT! I forgot about it for 24 hours and the water was still hot! Just make sure you read the instructions i went off the box and the box doesnt tell you about tipping it upside down etc.

First time mum here. I’ve just weaned my baby from breastfeeding to formula. So all very new to me. But wow this is an absolute game changer for doing bottles. Absolutely essential if bottle feeding! Breast feeding did not work out like I hoped so all the equipment I had bought in preparation was wasted. As I didn’t plan to formula feed, I did not have this kit. Let me tell you, waiting 30 minutes for boiling water to “cool”, and then still have to run the bottle under the tap for several minutes whilst you’re in the newborn trenches and your hungry newborn wails multiple times in the night, is the worst. Post-partum life massively improved when these entered the picture. Also recommend little containers to hold pre-measured formula so again you’re not spending time in the day and especially the night weighing out formula every time you make a bottle. Easy to take with you when visiting people or taking short trips out the house. For what they do, the kit is amazing value for money. The UV steriliser and coolers are great quality too. Love the coolers are easily sterilised with the UV contraption. Easy to use and quickly becomes second nature. I find getting the rubber seal off to clean is difficult but is easier if you have nails but even if you don’t, it becomes easier with time (husband can attest, I don’t have to do it for him anymore). Only downside, I don’t like the flask for hot water. Doesn’t retain heat for long. To make it last a bit longer I pour boiling water in to warm it first, tip this out and then pour more. Scolded myself a couple times taking this up to bed and making a bottle in the night. No precision point for flask to pour water safely out. I always go downstairs to make bottles to circumvent using the flask at home.

Colour has come of the bottle But the rapid cool is a lifesaver when out and about But sometime the nuby colour change on the lid from amber to green doesn’t always happen

As someone who already has a Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Machine, I bought the Nuby RapidCool after seeing the NHS recommendation for preparing formula safely. I also wanted to replace the most costly ready made formulas on outings. The concept is good and, in practice, the white cooling flasks work well. They cool the milk quickly and are straightforward to use once you get the hang of them. However, the main drawback is that you always need access to boiling water. The flask included in the set is unfortunately pretty useless — it doesn’t keep water hot for more than about an hour. That means it works if you’re popping to a friend’s house, but it’s not very practical if you’re out for the day. I’ve also seen a lot of people say it’s great for night feeds so you don’t have to go downstairs. I’m not sure how that works unless people aren’t checking the water temperature. I use the sensor on the flask, and after about an hour the temperature indicator shows amber rather than red, which means the water isn’t hot enough to safely prepare formula. I’m going to contact Nuby for guidance in case I’m missing something, but at the moment it feels like quite a lot of faff for something that’s meant to make feeding easier. If there isn’t a better workaround, I may end up returning it. Overall, the idea is good and the cooling function works well, but the practicality is limited by the need for reliable hot water and the poor performance of the included flask.
